I would like to hear how you like the OFFROAM holder. In fact, I was just about to post a thread asking anyone who has had this mount how they like it so far. Curious as to how secure it holds the phone. Does it move around any while driving?

    Thanks!

It's actually great, I've driven with it everywhere and it's super solid. I also use the peak designs mag charger and phone case and use another mount for my radio I put together with a 20mm ball, aluminum spacers, and TacoGarage radio clip

I wish they have 1in ball mount option for Garmin products. When I contacted them last time they suggested me to buy an aftermarket ball mount converter.

Agree 100%. I finally bought one and installed it to hold my Garmin. The built-in GPS is worthless (I like to make my own routes and load them into the GPS) and I was tired of the Garmin holder using one of the cup holders. I had to buy a 20mm clamp and 20-17mm ball adapter so I could mount the Garmin. I know there are other mounts out there but I didn't want to take the dash apart and drill holes, etc. etc. I usually screw something up when I do stuff like that . I find it's a lot more solid than I thought it would be and the GPS is steady even over rough roads. I don't off road so can't talk about that. I definitely recommend it.

I just ran to garage and now I'm thinking to myself if I buy a smaller ram ball for the GarminInreach maybe I can fit directly to the phone mount.

Does the grip leave any marks on the dash? Been looking at getting one.

Thanks for the replies and info. I too was wondering about it harming the lip where it mounts like @spyder918 is asking. I am trying to decide between this mount or the mount that mounts in front of the clock on the dash (I can't remember where you can buy that one).

I wish I saw this before installing a bullet point system. This looks so much easier then removing the entertainment system.

I got a wireless adapter so my phone doesn't even come out of my pocket. No need for a holder at all. Connects to Android Auto upon start-up and good to go. Also available for CarPlay. OH, and $10 cheaper than that mount.

My dear old Dad once chagrined “The buttons keep getting smaller, but my fingers stay the same size.” He was talking about cell phones of course, but I think the same can be said of automotive fuses. The tiny Low Profile Mini fuses in our 4Runners are ridiculously small. And the plastic fuse removal tool attached to the lid of the fuse box under the hood is inadequate to the task. So I treated myself to a proper fuse removal tool. It’s an inexpensive luxury.

OEM TRD Pro valances and reinstalled Greenlane sliders from my old 4R. While I had the rear bumper off I Fluid Filmed the steel crash bar and hitch assembly. And I'm discovering the orange is hard to photograph depending on the light.

It's in the plans but I'm waiting for another sale like the one Toyota had for July4th. I want OEM as on my last 4R I went aftermarket and the quality was crap.

No, was actually quite quick and easy, took maybe 20 minutes? The rear took longer because you need to remove the whole rear bumper.

No, its the plastic shroud above the middle bar, and the top portion of the grill(pics from my color matched install). But in this case, I'd vote leaving it as is. I like the line of orange across the front. Would be a lot of black with a heritage grill on it.

Edit: Leaving this in case it answers someone else's question but I get you were asking about the valence install now

How did you mount the reverse lights? I am going to do something similar and make a mount, just wanted to see how you did it. Thanks

Rokblokz XL. They're sized right for my offset but I kinda hate how big they are, I suppose I could just live with rocks, mud and sand spraying up the sides of the car. People have had issues with side exit pipes melting them but looks like the Revel is not too close.
