Check Etsy. I think someone makes a housing that will accommodate a light for the hand hold y’all are talking about.

No, but they pop out that easy for cleaning. Took me years to figure that out. The mechanic who showed me the drain wholes didn't even mention them as an access point.

Got handful of slammers from the hardware store and jacked the seat of a quarter inch. Turns out the Taco Tune seat brackets need to be modified a little as the pegs that stick down from the seat brackets hit and makes stuff not line up. Additionally, when you lift the seats up 1/4 inch, they don't line up well and i needed to take a Dremel and oval out the front holes in the seat brackets. The problem I ended up having is that between the Taco Tune amp brackets and my Pogs, I couldn't see that the holes couldn't align and i stripped 2 bolts and the threads in one hole but luckily i was able to fix it with a tap and it wasn't completed fucked so I got to keep it the same thread pitch. Should be more careful.

    Pics below of that.

But everything is in and the install is done. I've messed with the EQ on the Keenwood Excelon Reference DMX1057XR and it sounds really amazing. Very happy I did this and very, very happy to be done with it. Going to evaluate this head unit as it moves around a bit with bumps in the road and I like to go 4x4'ing so it probably wont work out but we'll see. Also decided I'm going to take it to an audio shop to tune the DSP's. It will take me a long time to figure out and I'm sure they will do a better job.

This is not all inclusive but want to say thank to the follwoing people for some very quick replies to some questions I had while I was working on this project, mostly - "where does this little piece go?" kinda stuff. Huge thanks guys, and to this forum

    That is some total legit!

I feel as if pogs n slammers is gonna get misconstrued n become the new mod…
“What size slammers do you run?”
“Which pog deflector for 25’ pro?”

Last elementary post of the night
I even had the spinning slammers

    @Thacrow
    Looks awesome
Dreading the day I decide to update my stereo but ripping apart the truck for the front/mid/rear power has taught me a thing or two as well I know how to navigate the “pulling that thing off” approach to dissecting this truck

but I totally hear you with “Veryhappy I did this and very, veryhappy to be done with it.”

    let’s just see what happens!

I ordered a set of these bumper bolt covers in black to match the bumper color and I’m very pleased with them. Very nicely designed for fit and function. And they look great. I’m hoping they will keep out most fine dirt and sand. Or at least cover it up. Thanks for posting this link to the Esty product.

You are going to love this head unit. I have been running it for the past 6 months and each day it puts a smile on my face for both sound quality and ease of use/functionality.

When you go to the audio shop it may be worth having them look at the head unit mounting. I told my audio shop i would be doing some off roading so they secured my Kenwood DMX unit even better. Totally fine for off roading.

Have fun with that head unit. Its truly amazing and does so much!

Thats a really good idea thank you. I was thinking...and this is crazy...to take the plastic metra mounts to a fab shop and have them make the same thing out of metal

I'll be flushing the brake fluid on my 2010 today, which seems like a good idea since the fluid looks near-black in color and I have to push the brake pedal halfway to the floor before anything happens :hattip:
I've bled brakes on a motorcycle before, but never on anything else. I've watched a few YouTube videos, is there anything I should watch out for? I grabbed a turkey baster thingie to draw old fluid out of the res. I think on our T4R's, proper order of bleeding is FR, FL, RR, RL, right? I'll have my buddy to pump the brakes and make sure the reservoir doesn't drop below Min. And I do this on each wheel until the new fluid starts bleeding out, yeah? Any pro tips yall have from experience? Hope I don't mess it up lol

Installed my Cali raised cat shields. Couldn't get a torque wrench on one of the transmission cross member bolts on the driver's side due to clearance issues, but everything went on tight.

Only critique was one of the cat shields had some really bad machining marks on the inside and both looked a little scuffed up on the outside. They aren't a beauty item, so I didn't fret about it.

    I got a 24 sea doo spark 3up
I initially wanted a waverunner (yamaha) but I got a deal I couldnt refuse on the brand new sea doo.
I wanted something as cheap as possible and brand new (I've heard too many horror stories on blown up engines after buying used from people who had no idea how to properly maintain/use a jet ski).
It is a lot of fun and the spark is perfect for my use (lakes are not that big in AZ so small is good and easy to store in the garage next to the motorcycles. Also I didnt break the bank to get one). If I lived in a place with bigger lakes and/or the ocean, I would definitely get a bigger one though.

PS: I chose the color scheme that matches the TRD colors :D

I ran into that same issue on a FJCruiser that I had. Went to a real hardware store (not home improvement) and found some rubber vibration isolators that were hard rubber and a steel sleeve. The sleeve was shorter than the isolators were thick so when I tightened them down in the front, the rear ones were a little more centered but raised the entire seat up a full 3/4". I did have to buy some longer grade 8 bolts though. All worked out fine.
Perhaps someone else can use this idea because I am sure that you've already figured your out. [IMG]

Actually it was McMaster-Carr. You should look them up when you have a few minutes. I have one of their locations about 5 miles from me.
