Stock UCA, 2” lift and positive caster? Haven’t seen anyone be able to achieve that with that setup. Three alignment shops and one of the best in Austin and they couldn’t get there. Curious and curiouser.

    Lots…
Depends what tires specifically. Overall you’ll be fine. AT tires with more meat might rub.

my alignment was done at the toyota dealership where i purchased it from in Chester County, Pa. I’ll try to dig up the sheet and post it.

Changed oil, air filter, and cabin air filter. Lubed propeller shafts. I was getting ready to rotate the tires when it started raining, so I'll do that in a couple days.

Only with the rotate tires! Wanted to stop and rotate tommorow but decided I was already dirty and sweaty so went ahead and do it! Always amazes me the torque on the aluminum wheels is 76ft/lbs

I respectfully disagree about 285s rubbing. I have a 3” front and 2” rear lift with 285/70/17 on TRD Pro wheels with ZERO rub. The difference is that I replaced the UCAs. No bumper cut. No body mount chop. No rubbing.

I have the matt finish pro wheels and they came with chrome, ordered a set the day I bought the truck, almost a month and they called, went to get them and they were some Chinese knockoff. Parts man even confirmed and credited my card back.

Stopped by Homeless Depot and snagged a piece of the gutter guard. It does take some work to flatten it out. I used my vise to help, then beat it on the floor. I used a towel on the floor and covered it to protect the finish. Probably spent 2-3 hours on it. Pretty happy overall. I moved the badge to the upper grill. Didn't want to have to drill out the new screen to get the bolts to pass thru. Cheap mod for less than 4 bucks...IMG_8759.jpg IMG_8756.jpg

I don't think I will try to add the mesh up top. It would be to much to do and try and leave the lights, which I like.

Looks good. I just picked up the mesh from HD yesterday. If I get time, I'm going to try and get it installed today.

This guy provides a lot of useful information. Thank you. Side note: I have his shift knobs. They are awesome. No rattle and feel great.

Interesting to hear everyone’s preference and experience. I actually prefer 255/80 on OEM TRD wheels over 285/275/265 (look and functionality).

Nice! I also have a 2013 Trail and have been bouncing between head unit ideas. Which Carplay screen, cup holder, and adapter did you use?

yes we know that. My set up is just an example of what i did to fit 285s which was not much.

I've only been on one highway drive (up to 80mph) and didn't notice any additional noise. My passenger didn't either. I'm more concerned that I didn't install it right and it's going to leak. It got a hand wash just before these pictures were taken and I didn't notice any water spots on the head liner(yet), so that's good news.

Ive heard good things about the Sherpa sealing system so hopefully you're good! I'm just concerned about wind noise. I'd be pretty bummed if I spend the money on a rack and have a whistle.

Rotated tires, check fluids, torqued propeller shaft bolts, and did all the suspension, brake, and exhaust inspections. 15k service complete!

This was my first oil change after installing Valvomax. It was far more convenient and less messy than with the standard plug. Also, Badlands floor lift shaved loads of time and effort off the tire rotation. I need to remember that the best way to get tires back on is laying down, using two hands to push and a thigh to lift and turn.
