I imagine that color would be the only difference but they look identical and I can't find a different number so I'm pretty sure they share the same center cap.

I had Victory 4x4 Strike sliders put on a couple weeks ago. I prefer the look of tube sliders plus snow not building up on treads. But their tube design looked unfinished without the tread plate.

Received them today and put them on. Screenshot_20240313-115901_Gallery.jpg

Used them as a step .. as soon after we were bombed by some geese going over..I was able to get to the roof for some cleanup.

TRD Sport gang rise up! Gave her a bath today since pollen season is upon us. Will be nice and shiny for a day :). Last couple weeks I put TrD CAI and the TRD Exhaust on as well. Highly debated topic, but there is definitely a boost in power. Subtle? Yes. Non-existent? I don’t think so. She’s not an overlander…yet. Eyeing a nice roof rack with light bar next. Maybe spacers to put some AT tires on once the Yoko Geolanders wear out. I’m thinking about powder coating the stock wheels matte black to achieve the full blackout look too. Saw that on a local TRD Sport and it looked sick. Also dig the Molle panels for the rear interior windows with the shelf. Too many things, not enough USD :oldglory:

    Happy 4 Running!

Brought it home...I've been driving a 2nd Gen Tacoma for years. The 4R feels like a tank compared to my truck. I mean that in a good way. This thing is solid. Love the way it drives.

Really haven't done much since last spring when I got it. Some little things here and there. I think it's about time for a roof rack though.

Fixed annoying subwoofer-induced door-panel resonating rattle in my new 24. I was going to take the door panel off and do a serious investigation but first I just tried tightening the screws, which solved the problem. The one by the door lock was tight, but I was able to tighten the other two a few turns. Highly recommend if your audio rattles the truck with heavy bass. None of the other doors has an issue.

Looks good. Actually looks darker than 35% and 80% over factory.
My JLUR was 20% front and 20% over 20% factory and this looks closer to that.

Glad you're happy with it. It does look incredibly nice on the white. I love that white.

I'm happy. The factory dyed glass is 28%. I usually go 20% all around, but didn't want any chance of the front being darker than the rear, so I chose 35 on the front.

That pic was facing sunlight, so it looks darker than it is.

Thanks for choosing us for your cat protectors. We are happy to hear you are thinking of us for your future sliders! Are you getting the step or trail edition sliders?

    @Levi9
    Yes
Some add a reservoir skid plate
Some relocate the tank entirely with a kit you can buy, some upgrade the tank to metal as well

But, I just rattle can'd it black and called it a day. I clearance cut my fender liner straight across at the top of the viper cut, cuz otherwise it's difficult to fasten the liner and make it look good once the bumper cover is cut there. I wasn't a fan of the look where people heat up and reshape and bend the fender liner plastic.

The sunroof + roll down rear window is crucial to evacuate farts via a gravity vortex

My grandfather was a Seabee: WWII, Pacific.
13th Battalion, Company A, Platoon 4. He was stationed in Tinian where he helped his crew construct the world’s largest airbase at the time. He and his unit were responsible for making the runways of the North Field out of coral found on the island. These runways were used by B-29’s that were crucial in bringing the war to a close. His unit also served in Okinawa.

i recently bought a '16 so nothing yet, other than replacing bolts/clips that the idiots at the dealer left off or broke off, parts that were missing and replacing bulbs with LEDs. i also want to get a pair of running boards, the ones with the "tire tread", i guess from a trd, since it doesn't have any and i need them to help me get in.

Where you located? I have a set of running boards sitting in the garage I'd let go for a good price. Nothing wrong with them just replaced with sliders.
