What are the signs of a steering pump going bad?

I feel like when cold (like first drive in the morning to work) i get a 'jitter' or 'stutter' in the steering wheel when turning while not moving. Like, say i'm backing out of my driveway, and when i go from Reverse to Drive while turning the wheel there is a slight 'jitter' feeling if that makes sense.

My entire steering rack was replaced recently with an OEM Toyota unit, but not the pump. So rack and fluid are new.

I'd imagine because you needed to swap out the rack, it may have started showing signs of wearing out...kind of like if you favor a leg for a long time, when you get it fixed, other parts feel outta whack due to compensating...strange analogy, I know

Put a set of 6500K LED high beams in from Amazon. They match the Amazon low beams and Amazon fogs that were in it when I bought it Tuesday.
