2012 Ford Focus Titanium. I loved that car, and sometimes miss it (fantastic gas mileage). Sold her the same day I bought my 4Runner. I hope the young lady that purchased her appreciated her as much as I had.

Pic isn't my actual car, but exactly the same.

Also...no regrets on getting my 4runner.

Previously, I drove a 2005 Silverado hybrid. When I bought it, I had just married my wife, no kids, and lived in Florida. I needed to tow a boat but that's it. No need for 4x4, the limited slip differential 4x2 was more then enough for my needs.

A couple years ago the transmission went. 30k miles later and it went again. The problem is that the hybrid bit was built into the tranny so that was like a $5k repair job. When it died the second time, just past warranty, I called time of death and moved on. That was in 2019.

Money was a little tight at the time so I bought a cheap econobox - a 2007 Accord. That was supposed to tide me over until we could afford a truck better suited to our family and current interests (I sold my boat years ago after we moved to Carolina). That time is now.

Now, the Accord is a perfect car for my soon-to-be 16 year old daughter and it's time for me to get a 4Runner. I just wish things were cheaper these days...i mean, damn!

It’s still going strong though. My son has it with over 280k now! And still looks great

My 4Runner replaced a 2019 BMW X5. I really loved that vehicle but wasn’t comfortable owning it out of warranty…

My wife and I don't have kids and we have 3 vehicles. One each as a DD, and the third stays in the garage and is used for weekend trips and vacations. The 4R bumped our 2014 Outback w/6 sp. manual trans. into the daily driver rotation, and my wife sold her 2008 Honda Fit with 180k miles. The Subie only has 55k miles and looks brand new. I still DD my 2006 Tacoma.

    2000 4Runner. That replaced a 1987 4Runner, which replaced a 1978 VW Rabbit. I enjoyed them all.

As I mentioned earlier, I sadly sold my 1990 Isuzu Trooper (5 sp ) after 25 plus yrs ownership....due to it was getting harder and harder to locate many parts...and body parts, were virtually impossible to locate. Even the junk yards, didn't have many anymore...and if they did, they were either stripped to the frame, ASAP...or quickly sent to the crusher, period. So I made the decision to sell her....I always loved the gen 3's...and always wanted a manual...but couldn't find one...so I ended up buying a automatic...in very good shape..clean as hound's tooth...very well taken care of...so I bought it. never regretted one moment. the big difference between the Trooper and gen 3, is the sheer power, rides much better...and parts. I ended up getting hit by some guy, who caused over 7k in damages..(front/side) and my bump shop was able to order parts from Toyota....and there's plenty of third party vendors, making parts as well...so in the long run, it wasn't a issue....where again, hardly zero third party vendors for Troopers...it was a no brainer.
