Random question: will the eibach springs be able to compensate for the additional weight of a front bumper/winch?

That’s good to know. At what point Will I have to make adjustments for the weight? (How many added lbs?)

you can get away with a slimline bumper and winch but you’re going to lose some of that lift. I wouldn’t run them with a full bumper.
My bumper is off right now so you can see the difference.

I disagree. My Eibach kit definitely helped support my bumper, winch, and skids.

Spring rate for front Eibach Coils = 662lbs Spring rate for rear Eibach Coils = 206lbs +/- 2% Here's my 4Runner:

No lift no winch or bumper:

Warn bumper with steel cable Warn Winch - note the front end sag:

Eibach Pro Truck Lift (4 coils 4 shocks) set on the lowest front shock setting:

That’s dandy and all, but you’re still sagging on the eibach’s.

    True.
I could crank up the shocks but seems that would limit travel / worsen ride quality.

That is correct. Do we know if the spring rates are going to be the same as stock?

Jeez. So are they having trouble getting enough steel to make them or are they having trouble with the new design for the Fox shock?

    Or maybe a labor shortage?

Probably the labor shortage Jake. I work in a steel mill and we cannot get anyone to come in an work. The place I work in use to be so hard to get into. I would just go with the westcott if your looking to do it and cannot wait.

The guy didn’t say a word about labor…said a part needed wasn’t available until March…previously, he had mentioned the design change in the spring that is causing a different manufacturing process. Who knows…I never thought I’d hear a company say they’d have a 6 month wait on a spring. Strange times for sure.

So then my question now is does anyone with the wescotts have testimony on how they hold up to mild to moderately challenging off-roading. Anything from dirt roads to some class 4 stuff?

Could you install both kits for two inches of lift? If so, would you need a diff drop or UCAs?

I just put my eibach springs on. You would probably need a new UCA if you did both. While not too far off, there was not quite enough adjustment left to get the camber to where it should be. (#should be 3, we got it to 2.6). Would think both might cause that issue to be a bit worse.

I am loving the springs. The ride is slightly stiffer, not as much nosedive or roll when breaking and cornering (enough that my wife noticed and said she likes it better, she never notices stuff like that). I will not have a chance to get off-road until Jambo at the end of April, so I will update then for that side. The lift is subtle if you do not know what things normally look like. I went up an inch in the rear, and a little less than an inch and a half an inch in front, will keep an eye on that for settling. Only extra weight is my aluminum rci skids. I am still on stock tires, will probably be switching to 255/80/r17s when I wear these out.

Will try to get a picture today if I can. Pictures:

For reference, the top point on my rack only went up a little over and inch. Now it is just sky of 80. After a week of settle, a little under 1.5 gained from hubs to front fenders and still right at an inch in the back. That is after I put my RCI Aluminum sliders back on. Now I have to wait until I wear out my nittos to figure out tire, which gives me about a year (the boss said I cannot get tires right now).

I had a terrible experience with eibach. my 20 ORP making noise front and rear after installing. I had a local shop installed everything and the shop manager said it will making noise when driving there no way to fix it, idk if I have another shop remove and reinstall everything will fix that. Just so sad.

What kind of noise, so I can listen for it. Mine sounds the same as always, makes creaking noises getting in and out on hills, but it has always done that.
