For sure, if I don’t keep that between the runner and myself, it might get rough.

Surface Shield also stays longer, it has petroleum jelly

 

Last fall I did half the 4Runner in Fluid Film and the other half in Surface Shield. I don’t notice much difference a year later. Both seemed to have held up well.

 

3 bottles of Wool Wax. 1 for the front of the frame. 1 for the back. 1 for the inside of entire frame. Inside is as important or even more. Rust from the inside out. Takes 2 hrs and you smell like a sheep. But you sleep better.

 

Fluid film can't stand slight pressure washer

 

It held up to a years worth of drive through and self wash car wash pressures, whatever they may be.
