Thanks! I installed the parts in about 40 minutes. Took my time with it. It was a fun little project. I wish the parts were a little cheaper.

Yeah, that's the reason why it took me so long to order one. I had to justify buying one.

IMG_1109.jpg IMG_1110.jpg IMG_1111.jpg Installed the TRD grill today. Took my time made sure the marks in the center were centered. But after I noticed the gap in the left side is bigger than the right. The sides don't look centered. Anyone else see this?

I just installed mines. I centered mines using the guide and might be a hair off but I'm OCD and hard to tell since my t4r is black. 20170427_154227.jpg 20170427_154324.jpg

SW Trail - I have the same issue and same color 4runner. I'm going to plasti dip the two sides to cover the silver. I think it should work.

Dont sweat that being slightly off center. Get a Sharpie if it bugs you that bad. You would likely break that expensive piece trying to take ot off and re-center...

Possible oxymoron? If you feel it is worth it, the price is not excessive, right? I feel the price is excessive and wish you all would quit buying these parts so price might drop.

As far as I understand it the grill doesn't require you to drill holes. The valance cover does since it is held in place with clips from the back side. Dealership said it was a tedious process that took two technicians to complete. I don't think I would've had the patience or nerves to do it myself.

Hello, it looks great! What dealership did you use or where are they located? And how much did they charge for your grill mod, if you don't mind me asking? ThankYou!

Livermore Toyota in CA did the mod. $450 for parts and install for the top grill mod. I want to say it was around $350 for the bottom valance plus labor cost which I don't remember off hand what that cost was. I'll have to check.

I'm not certain about removing the letters but if you prefer the non TRD front end I know most of the people on this forum, including me, would trade with you. That is, of course, you don't mind the Toyota emblem. But if you just want to black it out you can do what other members have done and plastidip it black... or replace it altogether with an aftermarket bumper.

I went a different route because after I thought about it, $500+ for 2 plastic pieces was really eating at me. So I did plastidip and the blackout emblems.
