Minus the $39.90 Badge that I also added in the order it came out to around $672

you must live near the warehouse. Check out my shipping rates :-(. It’s cheaper for me to buy locally and just pay taxes :)

try adding a small cost part, maybe the shipping cost will drop. Or maybe they’re just price gouging?

Mcat707, did you have any problems with the install on your 2015 truck?

I did the install myself, but I did have problems with my stock exhaust bolts. They were rusted out and the heads were rounded after I tried sockets and different wrenches with no luck, so I had to take a Sawzall to cut the pipe that goes over the rear axle.

A job that would have taken me a half hour took me a couple of hours. If your exhaust bolts are easy to take off, then you should have no problem on your rig.

Here is a YT video that can help

Does your rig have KDSS? Im not sure if the TRD exhaust will fit if it does. Maybe someone else can answer this?

Yes I do. Does anyone know if the KDSS system will interfere with the system?

For those who installed the TRD exhaust, did you notice a reduced exhaust smell? Also, did it reduce the exhaust particles coming into the cab area? I'd like to do this swap for those reasons. I don't drive with the back window down because I noticed the headliner gets covered in a black dust after a while and the fumes that enter while driving as well. Thanks!

It's cut down quite Abit. Drive easy I never smelled it. Floor it and it will come in, just not as bad. It's a 4runner so why drive around flooring it?

I would sell my TRD exhaust, but black dust on the headliner is not something I want. I don't notice any fumes with window down.

This thing many of you have with driving with the rear window down. Any SUV I've driven with the tailgate or tailgate window down has resulted in dust/dirt/grime getting sucked into the vehicle. Unless you're in a position where you need to drive with the window down for whatever reason, why on earth would you bother?

For me? Even on hot days, all windows sides and rear, sun roof open driving the backroads is just awesome. Highway, sunroof and rear window works great killing semi truck noise and gives airflow!. Call it therapy, relaxing whatever. 4runner has it pegged for low wind noise and perfect balance of airflow.
Disclaimer. I'm on paved roads and have zero issues with dirt inside.

If both were same cost and you were still shopping, would you choose the TRD or the Borla S type?

Thats a loaded question. People seem to love what they spent money on.
I can't speak for Borla but stay away from trd if your in a snow belt with road salt, chemical. It eats right through the gloss black tip. Can't change the tip unless you weld good

I'm surrounded by sea salt! Lol
Have an opportunity on a borla s, just not sure how loud it is in person, would appreciate any gains to compliment my trd intake but not the noise factor.

Trd pro grill, Trd skid plate, trd led foglamps, trd exhaust, led hi and low beam headlights, full led interior lights, raptor grill lights, eibach lift kit, rsg sliders, falken wildpeak 275 tires, oem black hood scoop, tinted windows. More to come
I bought the oem trd exhaust from a dealer in Austin Texas online. $614.00 plus $40.00 to ship to MD. You dont need a trd pro vin number to order any trd pro parts. Easy install and sounds nice. Looks even better.

That’s a great deal, $75 less than what I paid back in February. I had to search high and low for a decent price. Thanks for sharing. Really like mine with TRD intake.
