I was cruising the back lot of Thompson Toyota and came across this 2007 Yaris hatchback. The 2-door hatchback version of the Yaris is not particularly common, and the majority of them are beaten to shit, so I got out of the truck to take some pictures; I was even more pleasantly surprised when I discovered that this one was a 5-speed! The emissions sticker expired in March 2022 and the safety inspection expired in June 2022. Even though it is illegal to do this, many mechanics in PA will put an emissions sticker on the car even if it fails safety, which is what probably happened here, and then it appears that the car sat for awhile; I'm guessing that this car is at the dealer undergoing repairs to make it roadworthy...

Celicas came with silver dash bezels, and Supras came with black ones. The owner wanted a black one, so he swapped them out and kept the one that came with this car should he ever decide to sell it...

 

In Pennsylvania, antique tags by default come with a picture of a 1920s runabout on the left side of the license plate. Many owners place picture of their own vehicle over the default picture, as the owner of this 1980 Celica has done...
