    They’re P rated. I don’t tow and I don’t climb rocks. Easily able to handle trails and cleghorn in So Cal. When I eventually get new tires I’ll probably get these again in a LT C load, currently didn’t want heavy tires.

    Totally agree! I was looking at these in both SL and LT C myself - will likely go with the C just for the extra peace of mind on the varied terrain down here in the Southeast, and I'll be (hopefully) making a trip or two out west next spring/summer.

    I love them, they're not as loud as KO2's and they're snow rated so I'll test them out with snowboard season rolling around.

    Honestly, after purchasing and running 'E' load 285 TOYO's I think a persons driving habits running 'E' loads(or any heavy tire) has more to do with their fuel mileage than the weight of the tire. If you're a pedal masher, weight will matter. If you spare the whip at launch, you'll be fine. That said, if a specific tire you're looking at comes in a 'C' load, compare its weight difference to the 'E'. My opinion only.....others thoughts and mpg may vary;)

    SL load, will eventually get C load since I plan on getting these again, currently don’t need a heavier load for the stuff I currently do.

    Mine have performed fine for an all terrain. Mine are load range C. It looks like you're looking at the SL's, which appear to have more siping than the LT's, so they should actually be better in rain and snow.

    None. Bone Stock. EXCEPT: Brushguard, tow hitch, both welded to the frame. It's good to have friends and a fully equipped garage!
    Those are what I'm currently running on, 34 psi. We got some snow last winter, and my wife had to go into the hospital. I had to make several trips to/from to get her "stuff" she forgot to bring. Right in the middle of the worst snowfall. Those tires gripped like crazy. It's a 20 mile trip each way, but I had no problem. Oh the streets that weren't scraped, I just put it into 4WD HI, and they gripped even better, if possible!
    Those are my tires from now on, at least until a new version comes out. When I need new tires, the new version is for me!

    Does anyone have insight into why the C rated LT265/70R17s are heavier than the same size E rated tires? I was leaning toward the C rated option, even though they are a little harder to find in stock. However, with the C's having 2lbs more weight, the E's would theoretically be better for rotational weight and mpg but maybe a tad stiffer. Are the C's an older version/model that is made differently or in a different plant, maybe? Seems really strange that the higher load rating and likely thicker tire would be lower weight.

    No insight on the AT3 specifically but I did reach out to Nitto about the same question regarding their Ridge Grapplers.

    They told me it was due to the way the plies/ are laid out. Aka the construction of the tire. They wouldn't get more specific after I pressed.
