Good to know. I hope to tow something other than a U-Haul trailer at some point.

Sounds like the 93 out of No. Vegas. Plenty of places to pass and get passed.

That is absolutely true going through any big city. When I was slowly moving our stuff from SoCal to MT using the I 15, the worst parts were the 30 miles driving through Vegas and the 100 miles driving through the greater Salt Lake area. The best time for me driving through SLC was between mid-night and 3AM. I'm glad all that is over with.

Yeah, that 95. The two-lane part I think, is 44 and 89 in CA and then more of the same going to the coast in Oregon.

One-at-this-price stripper. Bought new 34 yrs ago, a $13K leftover. Added Detroit TruTrac, 1”rear spring spacer and “pinstripes”… Factory AC kit and roof rack bought at dealer cost at time of purchase, still blows ice cold 32yrs later. 2022 AG ORP all stock.
Is the 3275# a dry or loaded wet weight?
Do you know what the tongue weight is?

Mentioning mirrors, what do folks use for extended mirrors for towing with the 4Runners? Pics, brands, etc...

I made my own for my old '93 HiLux (now called Tacoma's) out of 1" sq. tube and 1/4"x 1" flat stock. Sorry no pics... pre flip phone days. lol
They were hard mounted to the doors and could be removed in a couple of minutes with a 1/2" box wrench.
Drivers side was a 12" extension and the passenger side was a 15" extension to see around the awning legs.
Big ears yes, but I could see very well behind me. Back then I held a CDL, so it was a must for me.

I tow a 3k lb camper and don't even need a wdh hitch. It tows perfectly fine, level with no sway. The hitch company looked at it and wouldn't even install a wdh as it was complete unnecessary. It does have electric brakes so I do have a brake controller installed.
