    For future reference.

    2021 TRD-OR

Measured my factory tine with a meter as 80% front, 30% rear. (give or take)

Legal limit in my state is 35% for the front. Have an appointment to get those tinted to bring them down to that. On my Wrangler I had everything at 20% which felt like a great balance between looks, privacy, and safety... but I would have to take the front doors off whenever I went for annual inspection (can't fail you for tint that isn't even there).

FYI I had 5% in high school and it was the worst at night bc you literally couldn’t see anything. Not worth it at all in my opinion. Just stick with what your state allows so not to have a reason to get pulled over

I have Texas legal. 25% I think. Looks like factory. Gonna go to 10% at some point. Tinted front windshield is the best money I ever spent

My personal opinion is that tint laws are stupid, especially when it’s legal for law enforcement to be able to have as dark of tint as they want whereas we cannot.

In Texas I believe the legal percent is 20%. In PA where we are at now it’s 70% but I had mine done at 35% which I was told most everyone is doing as PA is rumored to change the legal limit to that. My wife’s vehicle still has the 20% from when we were in Texas.

My Wrangler and Raptor are both 20 over 20 in the back, and 15% on the front. My biggest complaint isn't my ability to see, but the ability of others to see me waving them on when at an intersection. My town has a ton of 3 way and 4 way stops, weird intersections, and funky roads, and they just cannot see me at all.
