My girlfriend and I have made it a tradition of ours to head to Indio, CA for Stagecoach once a year with 12 of our closest friends. I mean that literally as well as figuratively as we try to fit 7 tents and 4 cars in a 500 Sq. Ft. Lot to camp there. This year marked exactly 3 and a half years we have been dating so it was even better.

Saw the Budweiser Clydesdales inside the venue as well! Really cool animals.

Unrelated to Stagecoach, but I added lighting to my tent before leaving this year. Turned out great and I love the utility.

    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

You can see in the last pic the ratchet straps running from my sliders to the tent and ladder. It was so windy the first night that I am confident that if I didn't do this, we would have been folded up in the night. I barely slept for fear that something was going to rip off the tent. Not to mention the noise.

Overall it was another success and I can't wait until next year!

Mod day on sunday should kick ass. I just ordered a switch panel and switches from OTRATTW for my center console, ordered a 40" light bar for my roof rack, and my skid from @Relentless may come in time. Big things coming!

And I'm getting closer to paying off that rear bumper!

Here is a pic of the switch panel I'm making

Thanks! I know it sucks! haha

I'm Irish and Russian... I wear a t shirt and jeans every day because the temperature is always 72 degrees and sunny, and I walk 2 miles to class and work every day. I can't help it unless I tanned... Which takes time I could be working on my truck... Haha

My girlfriend is Czech and basically turns black in the summer. She tans so easily and never gets burnt. I fry if I look outside :(

I only have 4 more months of reckless spending before saving for a ring and a place in LA! Getting my Bumper, Lighting, and a couple other things before then. Then it's a long hold until my front bumper purchase :(

Hahaha I hear you on the t-shirt tan, I get it really good too Matt.
But for me, I'm 1/2 Czech (grand parents on moms side both came from Czechoslovakia) and my mom is like that with the dark tan all summer, I get that and only burn in really intense places like Hawaii. I guess it's a Czech thing.
I'm already getting that t-shirt tan pretty good just from day to day activities, havent even spent that much time outside yet this spring, let alone camping/wheeling or going to the lake.

It's only gonna get worse this summer. Planning a lot of trips out to Lake Havasu, AZ as well as a lot of camping trips hopefully. Until last weekend I had used my RTT (Which I've owned for a year) once! Finally getting to use it more as time goes on.

Won't have my rig til Thursday. It's going into a family friends shop to get it's new tires (full size spare included!). I decided on Toyo Open Country R/T's in 285/70/17. I think they are gonna be great. I've heard nothing but incredible things about them. Ended up with a great deal from the shop too. No complaints.

This week I'll paint my skid, but I'll be installing that and possibly wiring up my lightbar at overland expo this weekend. Gonna be a great week!

Truck is in the shop near my dad's house. Getting new tires and a check up before the long drive to overland expo.

Today I got some goodies in the mail. I love the UPS guy. I'll be bringing these to hopefully install at the expo with the help of some other folks.

Went wheeling and shooting to celebrate being done with school forever. Also cleaned up our range a ton. People always leave trash and such. Got about 8 rigs to help out.

The biggest and happiest update in my life is this one!!

Drunkenly awaiting the best day yet!

Always getting abused by this one:

Lindsay and I have been fortunate enough to wake up to this view every day for the last three years. We have been blessed beyond belief with our home, and each other! Hoping to someday return to this kind of view with a few less roommates and a few more dollars.

The weekend wasn't without truck mods:

    Missing having a truck bed...:

And today I cleaned it up real good:

    Trip Report for

    Rowher Flats OHV (06/25/2016)

I needed a break this weekend and saw this TW event. Couldn't help myself.

Aired down and ready to go (almost lost a valve stem, just the start of my many mistakes to be made...)

We ended up doing lookout trail. It was a blast, but I made a few mistakes. Luckily all were fixable and we remained safe!

My turn wasn't quite as graceful as others. It was a tough area, but me choosing an absolutely terrible line and having a top-heavy vehicle almost resulted in catastrophe. Not the best pic but you get the idea.

Luckily Lindsay's Brother, Ryan and @dtaco06, helped me out of it.

My problem was getting hung up on my gas tank and diff. Diff isn't scratched, but gas tank skid was stock and is a bit bent. I'll need a new one. The gas tank hangs so low on these...

When landing back on all fours, I clanked my IFS skid into a rock pretty good. It held up just fine. I was surprised because it is aluminum. Happy with it!

We made it to the top and took a short rest. The dogs and Lindsay were very happy to be upright again!

    Always posing:

At the top, We needed to split off and head down since we needed to be back home early. First time I've ever used my 15 dollar Amazon compressor and it worked great! Can't wait to have OBA though. One of the TW guys was showing me his set up and I'm jealous.

Not sure. I got it off Amazon like 2 years ago. Never used it. I'll be selling it later this year because I'm getting OBA

Do you rub at full lock and stuff with the 285s?

How did you run the wiring for the light bar on the roof?

    I dig the pics.

    Thanks!

I have zero rubbing but I'm lifted and have a cab mount chop done.

The wiring on the roof runs in the channel along the windshield molding into the engine bay to my auxiliary fuse block

Hey on the wires for the light bar can you take a few pics. of the way you ran it. I have a 42"for my Baja Rack but didn't want to drill a hole in the cab to power it. That would be great help.
    Thanks

Hey here you go. Kind of hard to see because I hid the wires.

Here are the wires leaving the bar

They run under the weather stripping in that channel you see.

Then it runs alongside the windshield in the small gap in the trim.

Then into the engine bay to my fuse block. You can see where it enters the bay from the base of the windshield. Sorry in advance for my somewhat of a rats nest wiring.

All the wires are wrapped in black so they hide better.
