Keep an eye out on Oregon craigslist. That's the best place to buy one right now.

Are your rear mounting holes threaded or did you have to use the stick nuts? Those things suck... FYI for anyone looking at Shrockworks sliders, the rear mounting all aren't threaded on newer models, which makes the install a headache. Talked with the guy at Shrockworks and he suggested making the holes a little bigger in order to get the stick nut through. Wish they would have notified me well ahead of time so I was prepared because their directions are minimal and honestly aren't much help IMO. If you have an older model with threaded holes it shouldn't take long to do the install

this is one sale right now for $154, how was the install? all just plug and play and do you know the lifespan on these, I'm sure they are better than the old HID bulbs.

Mine were threaded. The stick nuts are a total pain in the ass. That what made the installation on my truck take longer.

I still like the bulbs a lot better than stock. Install was not bad with these either. I have not had any moisture in my headlights and I live in 95% humidity in South Carolina. Can’t say about life span but I’ve seen no issues for over a year.

thanks, now if I can talk the wife into letting me spend some more money, not sure if I want the 4300k or 5000k for color, I think I'm leaning towards the 4300k though. Oh did you have to get the canbus or was it not needed?

No canbus. I opted for the philips 4300 for reliability and factory look.

Yep the stick nuts don't even fit in the holes so I'm making the holes bigger tonight. Huge waste of time not knowing this ahead of time.

Can you remove some of the metal from the stick nut with some metal sheers to make it fit? I would explore that route before messing with making the frame holes bigger.

See that's what I was suggesting I do but the guy at Schrockworks said it would be better to make the frame whole a little bigger to ensure the nut will fit snug to the mounting hole... They added a significant amount of extra mounting hardware so I can try both. Doing it tonight so I'll post my results

Update... Completed the install last night and here's my feedback. The holes to thread the stick nuts in are too small so I had to do a combination of trimming the stick nut edges and making the original hole wider using a Unibit drill bit. It was fairly simple to do but man those stick nuts are a piece of work. Still trying to wrap my head around why Toyota stopped threading those holes. Love the look of the slider and they are extremely durable. No pics yet but I will post soon

Have to pick up new transmission fill and drain plugs to change the trans oil. The current plugs will be destroyed getting them loose.

Thank you. V6 is not what I was after but I have learned that if the 3.0 dies on me it is an easy swap to the newer 3.4. Plus I can still do dual cases etc., so it has worked out wonderfully. Especially the rust free part.

Progress. Brackets cut and grinded smooth. Wire wheeled and painted. Have to media blast all the other axle parts and reassemble.

Much cleaner. Aluminum oxide is not the preferred media, I believe it’s too abrasive. I’ll have to get some glass tomorrow.

I didn’t get the RESZ fab control arms. Ended up with the Icon ones because they were more of what I was looking for.
