I thought the skid was as Pro as she was gonna go? Well, after the pain in the wallet eases back off, now you are comitted to black or MGM valences. I haven't even blacked out the emblems yet because I am not sure I want to follow it up with the usual suspects, so may hydro dip the emblems MGM against my silver and stay Trail.

Still thinking about that. When I get time I need to go through the king paperwork and see if it reads "must remove suspension to adjust". I had multiple sources tell my the t handle tool would allow me to not disassemble everything.

It was something that I kept thinking about because I like it with the silver trail valences. Because it stayed on my mind, I bought the grille. I have anthracite plastidip for for the rear badges to match the new front.

I totally said the skid plate was as pro as it gets. The grille won but I'm holding out with the silver valences. I like the contrast with the factory wheels. If I ever buy wheels, I'll probably get black valences and be a full poser.

Would y'all recommend 0 or -12 wheel offset? Was gonna keep stock Trail wheels but wife wants some new wheels.

Do you have factory upper control arms? Any lift? What size tires are going on the wheels?

Ok, so mild lift and one size up on tires. Here is the breakdown. 9" wide wheels with a -12 offset are going to sit outside the wheel well further, creating a larger scrub radius when turning the steering wheel. this will potentially cause the need for removal of front mudflap and possible front fender apron mod.

If you go with the 0 offset the wheel will sit in the wheel well better but with a wider tire and rim combination could cause the tire to rub the upper control arm at full lock of the steering wheel.

Given that style wheel. I would recommend the ICON version. It's 8.5" wide. Doesn't sound like much but it helps things a bit.

Jeff- Did you take off the rear lettering and badge? I was actually contemplating buying the black out lettering/symbol kit and painting them before applying. Looks awesome man, I didn't grok what you meant with anthracite but now I do...
The black letters over the black back panel never did it for me.

I just masked around it. Plastidip cleans up so easily. I plastidiped over the black emblem kit. Now as my mind changes with the wind I can do what ever I want with it back there.

I never was 100% with the blackout kit on the black background either.

Ordered a different shade Grey to try to match the front better. We'll see how it turns out at a later date.

Much better. The first shade of grey had a blue tint to it in certain light. New one (bottom) does not. Near perfect match. IMG_0555.jpg

Husky. They have better coverage for the driver side foot rest. Maybe better coverage elsewhere??

Nice I was debating on weather techs or Husky, you helped me decide. Where did you find the best price and place to buy from?

Jealous man, I really want a small boat to run the intercoastal near me. I love my RTIC 30 soft cooler btw! That dog photo bombed the hell out of that sunset.

It was the 5yr old pups first boat ride. You can see the uncertainty on her face. She liked it a lot when we were stationary. Going to be a good fishing partner
