ford is only stereotypical bad. Not actually that bad.

I cant really complain, cars been good but fails right at the worst times. 12 years old, only put about $1200 into it for repairs. Just happens to be charge cable now thats failed.

I know, I know. I'm only slightly biased with Ford, in that when we've had them in my family, they've either had a myriad of problems, or they were more sluggish than Jared before he discovered subway.

Have no idea, found a puddle at work today for the first time ever. Weird thing is my co-workers Durango had a coolant like literally the day before and is now seriously overheating. It's been dripping all day, not a lot of actual loss though

ok guys, im looking for a mount of some sort for my light bar. im thinking something that will sit on the frame horns of the bumper on the back side and rise up and forward to place the light around the top of the bumper. It'd bolt to the bumper at that spot. So i'm hoping you guys have seen something. Im looking online to see about windshield mounts that may work.

Found out that I should buy a totaled FJ, not a taco, for my manual swap. They are more similar to the 4Runner than the Tacomas are apparently.

So now I don't know whether I just piece it together or try to find a totaled truck to salvage

Driving home on the back roads and I was confused why my truck was I'm a higher rpm range than it normally is cruising at 50-ish. It wasn't in overdrive. Duhhhh

Just agreed to buy a set of icon fronts and rear springs for $75. hopefully it will work out. They need a rebuild but whatever. Hey @LTDSC you know about coilovers, can I get a 700 LB spring for my future icons or will I have the same dilemma that you are having?

if you are getting 2.5s then youll have zero issue. depending on length of spring but you should be 14"-16" spring which is easy for #700

The out of the box Icon spring is 13", I recommend switching to 14". Icon has their own 14" 700 lb spring, or you can go with Eibach or King. Pick your color.

You won't have to do this if your coilovers are less than a year old, but check the lower spring cup or your shaft will get pelted by rocks
