Nice, I ordered a set with new rear shocks last week, they shipped the next day. Then they got delayed by the rock slide in Colorado...

I'm starting to understand why this 4.7 TRD SC destroyed so many motors, and why TRD finally added an intercooler to the later SC's. Talking to a Tundra guy and pretty much everything I have to do to make it reliable is related to heat issues.

    This should be fun.

sorry you had a bad experience. I have adjusted my lead times to now be realistic. I have been overwhelmed this year which is OK but a lot of pressure meeting deadlines. Apologies for the bad experience.

Let's see how deep in the hole I'll be. So far the list of items I'll need just to combat heat is growing. Meth injection seems to be recommended.

Went through a drive through car wash and got sprayed lightly with mist when the pressure washer went over my sun roof.

Not yet. I'll start that fun on Thursday or Tuesday. It's not really the heat of the unit but more so the gasses, I think that's why so many people bent their connecting rods. If I get it all working and tuned properly, the mini 2" stock Y pipe and granny shifting tranny will be the first on the list to go.

I can sell you the unichip the SC came with but it's premapped for supercharged people with 9th and 10th injectors

I on the other hand will be going with AEM since anything I pick will have to be wired in

Yea my wheelers stuff was supposed to arrive today by UPS, but that rock slide made a pretty big cluster fuck. It's moving now but they won't update the scheduled delivery date :notsure:

probably not, but surprisingly the driver side (shown) is fine the passenger is the one that blew. theres so much sand build up on the shaft and the extension before the LCA because all the oil.

ive thought about them but i think it would build up with sand and moisture from the ocean breeze. Also the creek crossing to get into the beach. I typically hose my suspension off before i go home, i knew these blew so said screw it. I air hosed the uniballs though.

I had those. They were good for highway use. Less shit getting flung around compared to off road, but kept all the rocks that other cars and trucks kicked up away from the shafts.
