Lift it, and throw on some 35's. You won't even be able to see most of the small car tailgaters. At night most of the cars just disappear as they get closer to me. As for the street light races. I just let em be. In a city like SF with its traffic lights every 20 feet, its just silly.

    Whats going on though

Same guy who hates spacers spreading ignorantly wrong information to scare people.

    Wait you're running 35s?

This isn't the same as the DB lift or you're stupid guy right?

Oh my bad, 34's. Most 35's measure out to 34.5 anyways

I'm going to go with 315/70/17 but can't nail down a tire I want to commit to.

No this guy works at an Offroad shop. Can tell he's lacking real world knowledge and regurgitating things the owners told him.

AT's again or MT's this time around?

Sounds like a real pro. I wonder what would happen if he ever got into it with Jberry

I'd pay to see that matchup.

I'm debating going MTs but my driving leads me to want ATs

Guy at Toyota dealer is dying for me to trade in the runner.

While I'd love a new Tacoma, I don't think I'd love that new Tacoma payment

Yalls abrupt conversation changes give me whiplash. It's hard to keep up, I can tell y'all have known each other for a while.

I live in Houston, everyone here drives like their tail is on fire. And if I had about 10k to throw in the truck, sure I'd go for 35s but I prefer to keep my daily driver modest.

As for spacers, I worked at 4WP so I hear the spacer debate all the time and talk kids out of the part counter cheapies regularly, but I assure you that I am no pompous know-it-all and in my experience know-it-alls generally don't have a clue what they're talking about.

when i went in for my dash i got the same treatment. id love the new interior and bed, but the 3.5 doesnt appeal to me

we've got short attention spans lol, i must admit sometimes its tough to get a word in edgewise around here, @ajohnson thought we didnt even see him post haha.

i find the same things about know it alls, and often times the people with the opinions have never used the product in question

when i was in and they asked if i was interested in trading in, i said "sure, if you give me 9k for what ive got"
he wasnt quite sure what to say after that

I'm waiting to see how the 3.5 does. The 4.0 seems to eat head gaskets so im not so sure about that motor. I'll end up in a Tacoma here soon either one from my work or a new one.

Meanwhile, the 4Runner needs axle seals and a power steering rack. 160k....

Any Tacoma I'd get is a 10+ so that's good to hear.

There's gonna be some money thrown into the 4Runner though. Has to be reliable until I upgrade.
