What batteries do people prefer nowadays? The 4 year old Napa in my Lexus doesn't seem to have much life left in it and it keeps corroding my positive terminal no matter how much I clean it

I had a yellow top on my 4runner for about 5 years before it died. It worked well but now I just play the Bosch warranty game.

My friend does that same thing with the Walmart batteries.

I think I might give the interstate batteries a shot. Or just go full cheap ass and get a Kirkland. Any thoughts folks?

I went through 2 Optima Yellow tops in like 6 months but both were warrantied so I'm on my 3rd now with no issues since I put it in last December, not that I've been there to drive it.

Interstate and Kirkland batteries sound alright from what I've heard. I have diehard platinums in my trucks, and I have friends that use them with no issues. I killed the 31m in my 4Runner but got it replaced with the 3 year warranty. Unfortunately, the warranty didn't start over with the replacement.

I'm about to lower the gas tank on my Tacoma. The dealer gave me a bent up replacement line that goes along the frame behind the tank. SMFH, gonna try and make it work

It's a kit made by Hayden I got off Amazon, installed it myself
In stop and go it would be around 200*, on the highway around 160*. I can only imagine what those numbers were with no cooler at all before. I didn't have my scangauge before I installed the cooler

Are 6 points better than 12 points for removing the transmission fill plug? The 12 point combo wrench I have just keeps slipping and rounding the plug out

(this is on my Lexus so there's no room for sockets)

Always use 6 point! for drain and fill plugs
