    Been thinking about throwing a Spartan automatic locker in the rear for a while now. Kinda want one to hold me over until I can regear and put arbs front and rear.

    I wouldn't put a spool locker in, but that's just me. I have read that they engage at bad times

    I've heard from some people they work flawlessly and others that they imploded the diff within like 2 weeks.

    I've heard bad things about spools. not as bad as welding diffs but i know a guy that had a spool and he absolutely hated it. #buyoncecryonce

    he literally buys things for the sake of buying things

    Do you guys even know what a spool is? It replaces the spider gears, locking both axles to the ring gear. It is the same as welding the spiders, without the welding. Aside from a welded diff, it is the cheapest and most dependable locker. A spooled and welded diff has no differential action though, and poor street manners
