Tried installing my skids. The large majority of my bolts sheered off.

Fucking pilot bit for the easy out broke off. Went and exchanged it. Drilled a hole. Went to use easy out. Drill won't spin it, no torque, so I go to use the handle, wrong size. Go to the store again and got a different handle. Came back it's just BARELY too big. Get the right size handle AND NOW I NEED A FUCKING EASY OUT TO GET MY EASY OUT OUT BECAUSE IT FUCKING SHEERED OFF!!!!! FUCK!

 

sell it. its given you nothing but problems.

So the consensus on diff drops are waste? But mine keep puking out the inner part. Ill get a better band/hose clamp but would the diff drop benefit me in this case?

 

Amazon did that to me when I ordered a Christmas present. Pissed me off too. No notice or anything!

I have a diff drop. Only had to fix 1 CV due to leaks and it was missing both clamps anyways

 

i might just do it, its cheap and my angles arent bad at all but i dont want to keep blowing grease everywhere. The other boots already have new clamps now is the inner clamps causing issues.

Im real confused how others fron fender gap is so large and im literally maxed on suspension even with different coilovers. I really cant go much higher and i run 285s. I dont get it.

 

I don't use one, not as much lift as you but i only had one loose boot, clamped it a year ago and it has been fine

I've heard people say that diff drops for 4th gens is pointless but i went ahead and got one just to be safe. my CVs are just slightly angled and i've yet to break one or rip a clamp off.

@Emelianenkov which bolts are sheared? I air hammered mine out and will use a standard nut/bolt or a nutsert/rivnut

i hope to not remove my rear shocks for awhile. I could have used you about 4 months ago when i got them rebuilt.

 

rear shocks took me literally 10 mins a side. You need some ratcheting wrenches.

 

have them. It helped but still was tight and sucked. You just must be way better at everything than I.
