Do you recall which Mickey Thompsons he had? I see a pickup around here with Deegan 38's on it. Looks good.

    The Baja MTZ.

    https://mickeythompsontires.com/light-truck-tires/baja-mtz-p3#sizes

    Those Deegans look nice, too.

I'm pretty set on a 285/75/17, so that puts the MTZ off the list, but I could also go with 295's. I'm still debating.

I did a cheap mod this week. I picked up this handy glove box organizer from Vehicle OCD:

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08KV1S821?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

It assembled easily and seems solid. It feels like quality plastic that shouldn't crack. It was a tight fit installing it, but I think this will help keep it from rattling. The space on top is perfect for your owner's manual and maintenance manual. The other areas are good for smaller items. I would buy it again.

    Pro tip

Download the PDF owners manual. Remove books from glove box for additional space for things

I was killing some time this am, and saw this. Is this the infamous "rock garden" in the Chequamegon-Nicolet?

Yes, I believe it's what you're thinking of. FR 55552, AKA the Pipeline, about a mile south of Buck's Ranch Road. I made it to the top. :)

I've run that rock garden many times over the years. One winter, during a particularly heavy snowfall, the rock garden claimed drive shafts on a Series 3 and a '95 Disco. We did a on-site repair of the '95 Disco, but we had to pull the Series out to a flat area, drop the rear drive shaft and nurse it back to Lakewood.

It seems to have gotten more eroded over the years. The rocks move while you're trying to maneuver through them. I saw a broken jeep there last year.

I was alone, so I went very slow, and was in and out of the truck checking my line and making sure I wasn't going to get stuck.

    Definitely required skids and sliders.

Not a 4runner part, but this will live in the 4runner. I've been a fan of Fenix flashlights for about 5 years now. It's amazing how much they have advanced in just that much time.

You can’t for wrong with Fenix. I purchased the PD40R for my duty belt and have put it through more than you might imagine, and it’s never disappointed. Not to mention the sheer output brings day to night.

Kings Shocks, SPC UCA’s, Method MR702 rims, Toyo AT III’s in 285/70/17, Gobi Roof Rack, various Baja Designs lights.
I liked my KO2's immensely... a little loud, but man they handled very well off road the few times I was out. On the other hand, the Toyo AT III's are right up there and surpasses the KO2's on road and off. When I was Cliff's Insane Terrain, I was not hopeful they would perform well in that mud. Pleasantly surprised at how they destroyed everything that mud pit could throw at me. The KO's will serve you well.

    Lol!

Are you thinking about getting one? I have a few of their smaller flashlights and really like them! Good battery life, rechargeable, great output. I highly recommend them. :)

It's hard not to keep buying them! They're so small, there's always room for one more!

I've wanted one of the higher powered ones for years. They had the old RC40(I think) with 6000 lumens for almost $400 forever. Now I got a 10,000 lumen light not even 6" long for $200!

I'm curious when they will reach the limit with these LED's?? The difference in the past 15-20 years has been crazy!

Nice! I've been using them for about 3 years now. I have one older version like the one pictured is 3000lm. One learns quickly if you toss it in the back pocket, Shut it off... gets real damn hot fast! lol
10,000lm wow, you can strap them on for ditch lights

Yes! Those little LED's do get hot!

They would make hella bright ditch lights! Although my Rigids do put out 7200 lumens apiece. :D

Thank you! I ordered 5 Yokohama Geolander MT's to wrap them in. :woot: 295/70/17's. It's going to be interesting figuring out what I need to adjust and cut to fit them.
