Tesla owners?

Plenty of folks from my parents to my SO just want an appliance to take them and some things from point A to B, and sometimes C for minimal hassle and cost.

A good friend of mine absolutely loves her Honda Fit and if it croaks we don’t know what it’ll be replaced with. She doesn’t camp, ford, tow or do any of those things folks here do, but she does want to spend her money elsewhere and zip into tight spots between poorly-parked vehicles, which the 4Runner certainly isn’t good at!

I don’t doubt that the sedan’s best days are behind it but I don’t think the segment was Ford’s strong suit in North America for a couple decades at least. A decade of trash transmissions in the Fiesta and Focus, and the Fusion’s design was both not very profitable and run into the ground (age) despite its relative popularity.

I can see how it was poorly worded but I was not suggesting that it does look like that. I was trying to say that, under the circumstances, I would still drive it even if it did.
