Duelers we not bad for a street tire. They were good in the rain, decent fuel economy and not the worst in the snow, but terrible for off roading which our 4R's are designed for, and many are using them for.

This is the difference between your usage and many on here who take our trucks off road. It's not that Duelers are bad tires, they're just not All Terrain and high performing off the pavement.

I would have kept Duelers if they had come on my 4R. Mine had the incredibly unpopular Dunlops, and to be honest, I planned to wear those out before upgrading. A ruined tire changed those plans, however. A new Dunlop was somewhere around $275 all in, so I sold the set I had to Discount Tire and left with 4 new Falken Wildpeaks for $550.00. Didn't make sense to spend that for a Dunlop.

I would run em until they are gone. Why waste the money. I only got 28k miles out of those pos tires

If I still lived in the southern part of the country these Duellers wouldn’t be so bad. Where we live tends to get snow in the winter and that has me concerned with them.

Why waste the money? I just retired and I'm not willing to wait that long to use the vehicle for the purpose I bought it. How many good years do I have left? Not enough to waste waiting for a set of highway tires to wear out.

Then the value of those tires doesn't matter, since time is your concern. You answered your own question there bud
