Man, theres just something about Orange and Black.. Especially if I ever end up going two tone and wrapping the upper portion of the truck black/similar to the Wescott designs wrap they did on their truck on their YT channel.

Those Relations Race Wheels RS7’s are sick.. Otherwise TE37XT’s, but spending $4k on wheels seems a bit obnoxious to me.

Yeah that’s why I will be adding my new black SCS wheels and westcott lift. Gloss grey wheels are not doing it for me. I may throw a black roof in and remove roof rack.

That's the wheel that came on my 24 and I really like it. Not just the looks but how easy they are to clean too. I actually think Toyota really hit the mark on my TRD Premium. Not much to to to it other than a rock/bug hood guard, which I have already installed.

Anyone know the part number for our Solar Octane OEM touch up paint? Any idea if it comes with a clear coat pen too?

Local dealer told me it would take a few weeks to get in so opting to order it myself. Of course, completely forgot to ask them to write down the part #.

Slipped getting out of the back loading stuff, resulting in my door flinging open all the way and dinging my brother’s perfectly detailed WRX that was parked next to me :frustrated: taking care of his with a bodyshop but got a tiny pinhead chip on the corner of my door that made contact with his.

Most people honestly wouldn’t even catch it without looking at it super close up…..but it bothers me lol just need a tiny drop of the orange and a touch of clear after.

Not sure if the part number is on my bottle I will have to look. But it don’t come with a clear coat. My dealer had a bottle in stock. I like to keep a bottle on hand for any chips or nicks.

I don't use anything but Dr Colorchip anymore. Use it on all my vehicles. You can't beat the system. Touch up chips without leaving a blob of paint. The chip is virtually invisible. Dr Colorchip has solar octane.

Here is a good pic of SCS wheels Gen5’s like F5’s don’t come with center caps. This pic has them in to compare with the pic above. I prefer the center cap. I did the painting before but this is much better. IMG_4916.jpg

So what do you think of the westcott lift? Did it change the ride quality?

I love it I have to say. I know others have posted it. But it firms it up just enough not to make it rough. Took away the nose dive. Comparing to before since these 285’s are not heavy it still feel good driving it but better then before. And still has pep compared to putting 10 ply tires on.

Still hoping for more aftermarket wheel pics on this thread.

Octane is not a color that lends itself to just any wheel…

I think switching to KO2’s was the single best upgrade that I did. I had to have them re-balanced after 30 days but they have been silky smooth since. Not to say the ride quality of the Terra Grapplers was bad but the aggressive appearance and the level of durability the KO2’s offer is hard to beat.

Do you lose any articulation or travel with the Wescott lift?

Maybe someone may notice it more if they off road with the westcott lift. For me I like how it rides and handles. It makes the Fox suspension better. The majority that have put the westcott lift on have no complaints. Hope this helps.

Im looking to trade my 2018 SR5 for a 2024 ORP in solar octane, im kinda still on the fence since it so similar but I feel like there's enough new bits to make it worthwhile.... not to mention the 6th gen looks ugly as hell so far

Also, the spec sheet says this, does anyone know if this is the "old" version of Pro wheel or the newer version?

    TRD Black Wheel Package PIO

    TRD Black Wheel Package includes:.

TRD Pro Black Wheel Black Chrome Lug Nuts Black PVD Wheel Locks

It will more than likely be the old version of the wheel. Since it's a PIO (port-installed-option), your dealer can have it removed at any time before it hits the port.

I went from a 19 ORP to a 24 ORP and there actually is a noticeable difference. Some of that is attributed to getting out of a 5 year old truck and the new one just being tighter and not worn out; but there are also creature comforts like AA/CP, moonroof, heated wheel, etc. It's a better truck now.

The TRD wheels are the old style.

Good to hear, im excited for that. I love our 2018 but got anxious to get into one with newer tech now that the clock is ticking for the Fall.

Does anyone know why Toyota did that with the wheels.. was there some kind of issue for them to start using the old version again? Ive even seen the Terra Pro with the old style.

As far as the Trd pro black wheels I had the dealer remove them before port, they charge $1,700 for them, you can order them from Bam Wholesale for $218 per wheel plus shipping, I ended up with Methods that where on sale.
I had read somewhere last fall that they changed back to the old style wheels on the Pro’s because of a shortage on the center caps, I don’t know if that’s correct, when I looked last fall the center caps where on back order with no estimated delivery date, but you could order the new style wheels at that time
