I'm going to guess its the limited trim with all of the chrome and massive screen....

now is a great time to invest in a 5th gen, I should really get on that.

That's a nice, functional looking interior. Typical Toyota. I like it. Plus buttons for HVAC controls is a must, which this has. And that TV of a screen to satiate the Tesla lovers among us.
    Nothing to complain here.

And we expected the same as Tacoma.

Sequoia and Tundra have exact same interior.

4Runner and Tacoma will have exact same interior? Probably.

Can see the same center knob and push button start location as Tacoma.

I actually don't mind the look of the new Tacoma interiors. I am 6'3" 230 lbs. and I didn't feel like I could fit in the 3rd Gen Tacoma's comfortably, so I didn't end up getting one. I sat in a 4th Gen about a month ago at a car show and really liked the room. I will be looking at the 4th Gen Tacoma in 3-5 years (unless my wife decides she needs something bigger - AKA Lexus GX) when the bugs get ironed out of a a new gen.

Toyota is cranking out a ton of new vehicles lately at an insane pace.

Sucks they are getting rid of the manual transfer case. That alone is reason enough for me to hang on to my 2024 5th gen until the wheels fall off.

Sheet metal looks almost identical to the 5thgen above the midline. I like that it doesnt have the light bar across the whole backend

But can they invent something that doesn’t require monthly activation of 4wd?

Looks like they hid something on left side of the dash (left of steering wheel). I wonder what it is?

Despite the weird soccer-mom chrome roof rails, that blue looks great on a 4Runner.

Filler plates for all of the options they won't offer on the 6th Gen...

I wonder if they got the left hand controls right this time, no more up/down for left/right...

I'm assuming this is a trim / package. We'll probably have a black out option.

Is the teaser pic Calvary blue? Or is it similar. I can't tell. But Calvary is probably my top color on Toyota's...

Some of us boomers like chrome, we grew up on chrome, thank goodness the black everything fade is dissipating. Of course, our old standby may not work so well on simulated plastic chrome.

This looks promising. Hate the big screen. Love all else. I’m confident they’ll keep the V6. Confident.

So far I'm digging it. I'm pretty happy it's not a massive redesign as I feel the 5th gen is a pretty good looking vehicle.

At least as far as we can tell from the rear. I'm nervous about the front.

Hint, if you look at the 2024 Tacoma front, your looking at the 2025 4Runner front.

More like three vehicles, each wearing two different outfits:
    Grand Highlander - TX
    LC250 -GX550
    Tacoma - 4R

Tundra + Sequoia obviously as well, but those are old news.

"Heritage Blue" is the official color name for the 2024 Land Cruiser.

    This looks the same.

Valid point since so many vehicles look the same and share same engines/parts.

The 24 Tacoma’s 76.9 to 77.9 inches wide and the Land Cruiser is 77.9 inches wide as well. That’s not a lot of difference from full-sizers with the Sequoia and others pretty much starting at around 80”.

The Honda Passport definitely felt wide to me at 78.5” over our 75.8”.

Maybe the 4Runner is shorter in length? Or Toyota is looking to take the TNGA-F to three price points in the same size category instead of just the LC and GX in North America?

(I guess the smoking gun would be how the rear seats fold and the packaging of the cargo area)

The blackout look was an 80's thing. Surpriised it's lasted this long! I miss chrome bumpers.
