    With 58500 miles on my current BFG AT KO2’s. I think it’s time for a different brand & tread pattern but staying OEM size…..

    These are Load Range C
    Coming from BFGATKO2’s, I have to state, they are softer on bumps and highway joints. I don’t know if it is the rubber compound or not. I never remember the BFG’s to feel like this.
    Maybe it is a softer sidewall. Yet to be determined.

    So @auspilot, I took a short trip that included highway, 8 miles if gravel roads and later some wet roads. During the highway driving, I found these tire to behave with a slightly more sidewall movement than the previous BFG’s. Maybe creating slight oversteer, not extreme. But as mentioned before, it makes these tires more pleasurable for daily drives on roads that aren’t in the best conditions, smoothing out some bumps.
    On the gravel roads, they performed well. They felt planted and seemed to not hold rocks in the tread and then release them into the wheel wells or side body.
    Wet roads, they seem to to stick better than the BFGATKO2’s.

    OVERALL: I like the feedback I’m getting from these tires.

    Good to hear! There aren't many C-load tires in the stock size so those were ones I was interested in. I did just buy five SL-load Wildpeaks so it will be a while before I'm in the market again.
    On a side note, I saw that the Toyo C-load ATIII's weigh more than the E-load? At least according to their web site. What's up with that?!

    I saw the weight thing as well. Im trying to decide on the Toyo C load or get another set of KO2s. Saker, you didn’t happen to weigh them to see if they are really 50lbs each? Have you checked mpg vs the ko2 yet?

    I didn’t weigh them.
    It will take some time to see how the mpg plays out. But, no I haven’t done a mpg check yet. I cannot feel any tire weight difference when accelerating vs my KO2’s.
    I think my KO2’s were 42-43 lbs.

    Also, I drive, I don’t putter around!

    Yeah I don’t putt either. Loss of seat of pants dyno is my biggest concern. On my 3 5th gen’s I averaged a pretty consistent 19-20. On my Silverado I switch to a D load General atx and loss at least 4 mpg. Maybe more in city driving

    I’ve always got between 15.6 combined and Hwy I can squeeze out 19.9 @ 73-77

    Original OEM tires were an easy 19 combined.
