Perhaps lock the gsheets so only you can edit it and then share the link? That way others can easily click on the links to products.

Mt. Baldy, CO. Went out with a local Tacoma group. This was first trip with the 4Runner. She did pretty well considering I have shitty street tires on her. Used ATRAC once on a super flex part, that I took a bad line on.

Got the LED Fogs installed. I have the LED Turn signals(Switch Backs), just need to get the Headlights and High Beams/DRL's. Hoping I can do the PRO grill soon.

Finally after having it for almost a year and half, I have installed the OG Trail Standard Offroad Faux TRD Pro grill. Haven't wired up the lights, because my dummy head ordered full size fuse taps and not the mine. Hopefully I can get that done this week.

    All Stock SR5
    [IMG]Untitled by redrunner87, on Flickr

Tapped off the headlights and bumper to protect the paint
    [IMG]Untitled by redrunner87, on Flickr

Cleaned the stock grill with dish soap so hopefully the TSO Grill will adhere better and its on!

Other than the amsoil engine flush, did you end up doing any other initial maintenance when you initially got it?

Noticed a lot of people add the small orange lights in the grill. What is the purpose of those? Don't think they add much light at night. Or is it more of a "looks" kind of thing?

Keep up the build thread. As a fellow Red SR5 owner, I look forward to what you are doing.

It was a CPO vehicle when I bought it and came with a list of all the maintenance items they did at the dealer. So every oil change I run fuel injector cleaner, replaced the cabin air filter once, did the engine flush once and that's about it. So far she has been running good. The dealer did replace the brakes before I bought it.

They are referred to as "Raptor" lights, based off of the Ford Raptor. They are more for looks and I guess an attention getter. Hopefully they will be wired up by this weekend. Debating Dipping the emblems next.

Thanks for the info. Plan on doing the above mention maintenance "soon". I suck at pray painting. My plastidip did not turn out so well. Cartrimhome has a set for $35. $35 to have it instantly done right. Or $7 + 3 hours (prep/spray/dry/peel). Wish I'd gone with the caps. Also if you blackout the emblems, you'll have the urge to black out everything else as well. Now my rims and rack no longer match. This bothers me so.

I am going to start with the SR5 Emblems and see how it goes. I am trying to get my buddy to sell me the Trail Edition rims that he powder coated bronze, so not too worried about the wheels.

Finally got the "Raptor" Lights wired up. I did it a little differently and didn't tap the fuse by the Riverside kick panel, I tapped the fuse in the engine compartment.

I tapped the "INJ" fuse which is in between the 7.5 and 10 amp fuses
    [IMG]Untitled by redrunner87, on Flickr
    [IMG]Untitled by redrunner87, on Flickr

I then unbolted this bolt and ran the wire through it and re-did the bolt.
    [IMG]Untitled by redrunner87, on Flickr

I ran the negative wire to the factory negative cable bolt. Now we have lights

Got half of the switchbacks done. When I installed the rear LED turn signals, they didn't hyper-flash so I never installed resistors. Apparently with the front LED's installed I needed to put resistors front and rear. So it took longer than I thought it would, so only got it half done today.

This will be the last mod for awhile. Finally finished up the switchbacks, so now it is off to saving up for tires. Hoping for 255/80 Falken Wildpeaks AT3W

Anything in particular you are hoping to find out from the oil analysis?

Just wanted to get a baseline and continue to track throughout the time I have the 4Runner. I ran an engine flush the oil change before(Amsoil Engine flush), kind of interested to see if how the oil analysis comes back(wish I would have done a baseline before the flush to compare the two).

First Blackstone Oil Analysis has been done. The oil used was Amsoil O.E. OW-20 @ 10,995 miles. I did an Amsoil Engine Flush right before this oil change. Here are the results:

The last parts to finish up Phase 1 of the build. I decided to try Rust-oleum Peel Coat in Graphite instead of Plasti-dip. I guess we will see how it compares. LED Headlights and LED DRL/Highs as well.

Ordered one can on Amazon, also found another at True Value hardware store. I need to touch up the "R" in the 4Runner on the back hatch, but I will do that when I do the roof rails this weekend. Overall I like it, we will see how it holds up long term. I like the "Graphite" over the black, just a little bit different.

I did Plasti Dip on mine a year ago and it’s held up well. I kept the grey TRD wheels so I’m thinking of redoing the emblems to match

I think it would match up pretty well with the grey TRD wheels. My plasti-dip on my 3rd Gen held up well too, so I hope these do as well.

I really like them. The highs are super bright. I had to adjust the lows a little bit to get a good cut off, but they work really well.

Right on. I like mine as well. I had HIDS before which I feel put out more light but it wasn't as directed as the LEDS. They're hard to beat for the price.

The price is hard to beat, plus they are easily "clocked" so you can focus the beam. I have been driving a lot on back country roads with no lights at all, they have been a big improvement over the stock bulbs.
