This a matter of geography.... Having a dark colored vehicle in the Florida sun is brutal. You can not put your hand on the vehicle's hood you will literally get burned.
I have had both my black TRD ORP and my white one in FL.... no contest the white's paint never feels hot .. while I could actually fry and egg on the hood of the black one. My silver 4R also does very well in FL and is typically only slightly warm to the touch.

Had an Alpine White 2017 Tacoma - looked sharp.

However - realize that Toyota's white is single-stage paint. Yes, that's right, paint and clear coat are on 1 layer. Do with that knowledge what you will.

Red just seems like a swirl magnet. White or silver will look the best long-term.

Whatever you do - do not get black, just don't do it.

    Kyx nerfbars, TRD roof rack.
When it comes to cars I have my own opinion on colors. White, black, silver, gray are not colors. They are a lack of color. Yellow is only good for cabs and baywatch. I also do not care for the lunar or green the pro comes in. I only really like the metallic red and blue model colors. I bought blue for my sr5. I would have bought the red but didn't want to wait.

Don't get Nautical Blue. I have one and its a bigger pain in the ass than black. Man oh man does it get a ton of compliments though. Even a 15 year old girl at Chik Fil A was amazed by the color. Get white, but man white is really boring unless you have everything blacked out.

I think these look great in both of those colors, but I think the white is a little boring. So that said, I would go with the red, even though you'll have to put a little bit more effort into keeping it clean, since the red has a really nice shine when clean. It also looks great with bronze or black wheels.

Like someone posted earlier, I'm a little biased since I own a Barcelona red 2019 ORP, but I say get the red one!

    Yep, white is boring. ;)

I like the blackout on darker colors but prefer the chrome on white.

Actually, the color perceived is the reflected color. White and black are the absence/presence of ALL colors. Red is the presence of all colors except red, which is reflected.

Trivia question from a graduate class in genetic: There are only TWO colors of Labradors. What are they?

Black and chocolate. Labs also have an "on-off" color switch. It it is "off", you have a yellow lab.
