Thank you for your input! I told them I will not pay Market adjustment . They can screw the next 10 people but I'm not gonna be one of them . The premium should also have pushbutton start and heated seats correct?

I thought that they all have push button start now. If you’re not in a hurry I would wait them out. With the way the economy is going I can’t imagine car sales are going to be very good by the end of the year.

Have 2024’s been confirmed yet? If not waiting might be a risk of not getting the truck you want. His deal is already at or under msrp and we don’t even know all the options.

Not sure on the 2024 but it seems a little late in the year to not have announced a new model for 2024 if they were going to have one.

I think prices are coming down. I would tell them you are working with other dealers and they are going to have to earn your business. put it back on them. dont go back to the dealer till you have an ODP over the phone or text that works for you. take your time. this is big deal.

This should be the exact truck you are looking at (via Toyota.com website). https://smartpath.toyota.com/invent...dealerCd=19077&vin=JTERU5JR6P6195319&type=new

I don't see KDSS on there. IF they are adding KDSS and the Pro wheels (black emblem covers already included), then with the same discount they show on their website I'd guess you would be around $50,500-$51,000 price (not including all the taxes, which are what they are), so I wouldn't feel bad paying their $52K but probably you could shave another $500-$1,000 off that with minimal effort (and with check in hand). That's a good deal.

I bought mine in January, Lunar ORP with KDSS and paid $2K over sticker. The market was tighter then. (They started saying they wanted $10K over sticker but sale guy could do for $7,500 over (LOL). Took a lot of talking but that is where I ended up and that is where I finally said, OK, this is it, go see your sales manager and come back with a yes or no, but DON'T come back with a counter offer or I would just leave.

I didn't have any special need to buy then or even at all, but I wanted the car as it sat. If I am in the market ballpark for a car, I normally go for it, doesn't matter to me if it's a grand or two more than I really want to part with as long as its a "reasonable" deal.

If it is still there tomorrow (it says sale pending on Toyota's website), just buy it and have fun.

The sticker prices did go up in price earlier this year.

How's San Angelo? (I assume you are there.) Have only been there once, long time ago, my first trip to Texas and my classic picture of Texas, at least at the time, probably quite different from the big population centers. Have a cup of DeCoty coffee on me! Hung out with the then Ducote family guy in charge at the time.

That’s not the truck the OP is looking at. I posted that link as an example to show that his dealer is not showing options.

I am in mostly in North Texas now. But San Angelo is hot and dry like it always seems to be. Did you have to spend time at Goodfellow AFB?

I have heard lunar rock will not return
So what did you pay OTD ? I figured that a sunroof , kdss , black wheel truck for 54k OTD is probably a good price but I didn't want to find out the hard way that it's not . I almost bought one for 51k otd with no kdss and no black wheels but everything I read about kdss made me think it's worth having . Also, they don't accept outside financing so if they don't give me close to what my credit union can I'm still not buying it .

That’s crazy they don’t accept outside financing.

Are they still pushing nitrogen in the tires like it’s a great thing?

I'm going to get the list when I'm in there . I'm not sure what options would be missing on a premium but of course I need to know. I'm going to hit them with 52,500 Otd tommorow when I go in . My friend who Is a sales manager at a Ford dealer told me they will still make money as their cost on this truck is probably 46k as sits before financing kickback and dealer hold back.

WOW!! The "base" price for the 2023 ORP is $2,000 more than in 2021.

Really wanna have your mind blown? Pro MSRP in 2016 was $45,000.

Granted, that didn't come with a sunroof, or any of the Toyota safety stuff.

So true...... I'm on a forum for John deere tractors and back in mid 2020 before stuff got crazy stupid I bought a brand new 1025r tractor with a loader and backhoe and a set of forks for 22500OTD . guys now are paying 29k-30.5k for the same damn thing. Disgusting to me considering I don't believe wages went up to match that.

For $1700 I sure friggen hope so, seeing as my SCS wheels and Mickey Thompson 33's were $1800.

Looking at the invoice, package info, and my best guess is no, tires do not come with and they'll be just the regular tires.

Which also begs another question, what do they do with the stock OR wheels that came on it? I'd be asking for those if it was me.

I bought my 23 ORP from Jerry’s in May, very similarly equipped, and they wouldn’t budge on the price. I ultimately bought it from them due to them having what I wanted and their proximity to home. But I probably could’ve gotten a better deal elsewhere.

The wheels will come with the awful all seasons that they all do, replaced them with Toyo AT IIIs two weeks ago
