I took this on my 5500 mile National Park road trip last year. This was at Yellowstone at Old Faithful. Mostly luck still learning photography. Rebel t2i with 18-135mm lens.

18-135 is a great walk around lens on a crop frame camera. Your night shot looks good. No star trails, so I would guess 25 seconds or less. You could put some color in the gases of the Milky Way in Photo Shop and make it pop a little. I like this, as I really like night shots and know the effort it takes to get good ones.

Yes, it’s very rare for me. Notice the low clouds just sprinkling a lil. And I’m in direct line of the sun during the summer solstice. Please donate for my Harley purchase...

Didn't have the tripod with me, it's amazing how well auto-align works.

Meet Brookie....she's fat and probably doesn't like you. Took her about 3 months to warm up to me after we moved mom into assisted living. Now she follows me around like a dog...even when I'm taking a dump.20190209_142755.jpg 20190209_142913.jpg 20190209_143052.jpg 20190209_143149.jpg 20190209_143543.jpg 20190215_142110.jpg 20190224_085005.jpg 20190309_103826.jpg

The Nikon D750, though a little dated, is a professional camera and if you started with it, it would be a very long time before you would need to consider an upgrade. If I were a Nikon shooter, it would definitely be a consideration or me. Don't see how you could go wrong.

This is the main reason I am looking at this and also that it is less expensive than the D610 for more features

If I remember correctly the 600 and 610 had some issues with shutter oil getting on the sensor and causing spots on images.

I would get the d750 with a 24-120 f4 lens to start. This will give you great images with a lot of versatility.

This is the direction I'm going I do believe and I will keep my old 6D for high risk outdoor stuff.

The D750 had some issues as well with the shutter but I think that has been resolved

I waited almost four hours in a creek bed one morning a few years ago to catch these two going at it. If you look very close you can see it's two bucks. The doe was standing to my left about 15 feet away. My heart was poundingFB_IMG_1553441796718.jpg
