    Ya it does make me feel better about the engine’s health. Hopefully others learn to do it themselves too and not trust the dealers since I’m not the only one this his happened to.

    I'm happy for you Tuna Mac. That would have driven me crazy worrying about possible damage from lack of filtration.

    I'm a satisfied Blackstone Labs customer for many years. It's cheap peace of mind or a good warning.

    Damn… I just changed my oil this past weekend and noticed the new and old filters fall short, and thought it was odd. Didn’t think much of it until I saw this post.
    100% my fault though - I wasn’t careful in verifying filter part numbers’ complete digits. A1 vs A5 :anonymous:
    Luckily I do 5K Intervals and will be swapping out with a correct element once it arrives.
