I've seen several of these posts about indicators and picked the last to respond. Yes, annoying as hell! Either slowing down to a near stop before putting the signal on, not signaling at all, or turning it on 3 roads before their turn so you have no idea when they are going to finally stomp the brake and go for it

Obviously old and mature enough to choose leaders who run the entire country, but not old and mature enough to decide if they can do the dirty, purchase a firearm, buy or consume tobacco, buy or consume alcohol, join the military, work without parental consent, drive after dark, the list goes on.

If people aren't responsible enough to be an adult until age 21, then make it all 21. Goes for all of the above

Idiots not pulling over to the right or stopping or crossing an intersection when a Fire truck with Blaring Horn and Sirens is coming or in the intersection.

Yes, YES. How do you expect to merge with 70 mph traffic when you're doing 35 or even worse, lose your nerve and stop completely at the end of an entrance ramp with no room to accelerate?

Mash that skinny pedal on the right, put on an indicator to signal your intention, and u less it's an 18-wheeler with nowhere to go, there will be room when you get there

You know what really grinds my gears? Zero tolerance policies.

Let's pick the best and brightest people to be in authoritative positions, then tie their hands and strip their ability to make logical and reasoned decisions based on circumstances.

May as well be robot's in place that just follow their programming. At least with AI we are trying help programming make more logical and reasoned decisions.

What grinds my gears? People that try to eat their pudding before they eat their meat. I mean, how can you eat your pudding if you don’t eat your meat? What have we become as a society?

Eh, I just searched for memes because I recognized the phrase.

I'm only familiar with blood pudding, which sounds gross but is delicious

When my daughter was little and we were in my ‘73 VW I would operate the clutch and let her operate the shift lever from the passenger seat. She really ground my gears.

this one makes me want to turn homicidal: controlled intersection with two left turn only lanes. invariably the vehicle in the inner most lane will make the turn but while still in the intersection will just drift on over to the outside lane. this has happened to me several times.

All of the above about bad/stupid drivers.
But what about off the road?

For me, it's people who speak stupid.
Why do they feel the need to say "literally" in every sentence?
They use it wrong 99% of the time unless everything they say has more than one meaning.
"These ones /those ones"? Do they teach English in school anymore?
"Front headlight" ? "Rear taillight" ? Think about it.
Also, when everything they say sounds like a question. Are you asking me or telling me?

Then there are people who goes through the hassle of signing up for a forum but doesn't search and/or expect others to do their homework.

Yes! There is an intersection that I use frequently, but this one the people in the far left lane will drift to the right, ugh. I always use that far left lane so they don’t drift into me.

People can't stay in their own lane when going straight. How are they going to do it on a curve?

As an aside, I came up with an idea to help reduce accidents caused by people turning left into the path of an oncoming motorcycle (I used to ride a lot). I ran it by a traffic engineer to see what he thought. He gave me a blank look and said "We can't even get people to stay on their side of a yellow line." So much for that...

I agree with the sentiment, but it seems harder to find a 100 dollar toaster that is anything other than a 10 dollar toaster with lipstick on. I used to have a “real” 10 dollar toaster, it toasted fast, and it toasted well. But somewhere in the last 30 years they seem to make all toasters with the exact same heating element. They’re thin little heating elements that take forever to toast, so you’re basically left with a shrunken dry peace of bread.

So I guess that’s what grinds my gears…toasters. Lol

All of the “neighborhood” sized roundabouts near me are too small for filtering when there’s a lot of traffic. There is the real possibility I don’t know how to use them, I’ll grant that much lol.
