New Pending 4Runner Purchase

I’m surprised Liberty gave you the time of day. I’m in Parker and reached out to every dealer in Denver and Colorado Springs metro. Some were willing to let me put a down payment on a vehicle they already had allocation for, but the colors and options were not what I was looking for. Liberty just said they didn’t have any inventory and that I should look elsewhere. I ended up contacting the dealer in Wisconsin I worked at in college, and they told me they thought they could get me any build I wanted.

Good luck with your search. I agree with the others about not getting a dealer build. I am hopefully getting a TRD ORP w/o KDSS since most of the things I’ve read say that I’d you plan to modify suspension then skip KDSS. I think there is better selection of 4Runners without KDSS as well.

I have called Denver dealerships as well. They all say "Put money down and hope we get allocated a vehicle your looking for". In the meantime they have my money and I could be waiting many, many months in hopes they get allocated what I am looking for. What an effort this is turning out to be.

 

I was waiting to have a smog check done and my dealer in Walnut Creek had a 2WD SR5 and a 4WD nightshade on the lot.

I went to Dublin to get some dim sum and swung by the dealer there and they also had a 2WD SR5 and a 4WD Limited.
