Yes, I’m sure we live in different climates and that should be a consideration. A couple of years ago I was driving through a downpour in the Oregon mountains and experienced some hydroplaning with my nearly new 285 Ridge Grappler’s. Snow performance was “ok”.

Probably 98% of my driving is on dry surface so rain and snow performance is not a priority for me.

Best wishes with your tire purchase.

What load range are those? They look sweet. How’s the ride?

Thank you. I love the look of the ridge grappler but realize it’s probably not the best tire for my area. They look awesome though

Haha. Wimpy? I prefer the term “business-like” or maybe “adult”. ;-) I’ll have a look at the Toyos.

I have had great experience so far with the Toyo AT3's. I have them on my F150 and will be getting a set for my wife's 4Runner once we lift it.

They are load range E. They have great reviews. So far, we’re happy with them. Have a slightly aggressive look, but without the noise. Comfortable ride, M+S Snowflake rated.

I am also enjoying my Toyo AT-3 , much better than the original Duelers in road feel and grip and no shake , slightly noisier but you really have to listen to notice the difference also took a slight hit in gas milage as was expected vs the stock tires.

I had them on my Tacoma Plow Truck, had no issues at all.
