Just got done with an alignment. Went to Les Scwab and they did a decent job. Driver side 0* camber 3.3* caster, passenger side 0.1* camber 3.2* caster. Drives straight, no rubbing after fender liner mod and a bit of trimming.0426892F-9017-4BBB-B943-8926EBE8231A.jpg

I’m done spending money/doing anything to the 4Runner for now. Just installed RSG sliders last night

3800 miles and started to get some annoying vibrations at highway speeds accompanied by some steering wheel shake. My first thought was must be the tires. Looked at the weights on the wheel and they only hammered weights on the inside lip, and did not stick any weights on the barrel portion of the wheel. Went in to Discount Tire again and they did a dynamic balance, which took care of my problems. Phew!

Just curious - does your OR have KDSS that you had to deal with on the slider install?

Great job on everything, by the way.

Thank you! My OR does not have KDSS.

I really like the look of the flat sliders with the top plate. I ordered the same RSG sliders, except with the grip plate. Do you have any more pics of the sliders, especially from the side?

Those look so much better than running boards!

I’ll grab some photos for you this weekend and get them posted. They have been perfect, you’re going to love them. Wish I got the grip plate

The little teeth on the grip plate do seem like they would work well to prevent slipping.

Installed an aftermarket TRD Pro grill today that had been sitting for months. Turned out alright!

Great looking job. I'll be getting a 2021 ORP in the same color next month.

Pinstripes, lots of em. Plus a couple dents.
    Looks good!

I think you need a winch bumper though. Helpful for those pit maneuvers.

Looks great. I haven't done anything yet to my 2021 Venture and keep going back and forth on tire size, but the 285 KO's in C-Load keep finding their way to the top of the list.

It has been a while since I’ve posted… I was considering making the switch back to a Tacoma, but have decided to stick with the 4runner. They are just too nice to get rid of.

Next on the list for the 4Runner
    - Adjustable front suspension (Kings, BP-51s, Dobinsons IMS, etc)
    - Roof rack (Gobi or Prinsu)
    - high clearance rear bumper
    - bumper cuts up front

We are getting some snow here in WAD99D6D8D-C5AE-41CD-9AE3-DBEF2013E30B.jpgB2472341-5C24-4E8E-84C1-DE7D88D19156.jpgCAB0D030-1C30-4019-AD90-72815E065758.jpg

Good call sticking with the runner.
I’ve got the exact same wheels/same color. Haven’t seen them on another t4r.

Yup, good call on keeping the 4Runner. Tacomas are excellent vehicles, but the 4Runner is much better…

I haven’t seen them on this color either! I recently became tired of the rivets so I painted them black. Looks like SCS wheels are hard to find now!

Thanks! I now agree, took a bit of time. Not sure if you’ve owned a Tacoma… but I miss mine from time to time.

A few more photos from our Moab trip last year. We took the back way into Arches National Park, which was a fun little time in the 4Runner.

I have noticed a collection of rock chips behind the front wheels along the door (expected with no mudflaps). I decided to trim the front mudflaps 2 inches shorter and most of the inner portion of the flap to avoid rubbing near the cab mount area. I’m calling it the mini mudflap mod C583D9A3-D071-47EF-8DD7-71C8462E68BF.jpg B481563A-3D03-4790-874C-B9AF03434259.jpg 1DEABD6A-DA20-464B-A09C-745F29FCB56A.jpg CF745A4E-72FB-4AA9-94D2-05B4653619AE.jpg

Added the diode dynamics Sport fog lights in amber. I’ve liked them so far, they are quite bright and a fraction of the Baja designs price.

I also ordered a Prinsu full roof rack.. I know some people have had issues with quality/craftsmanship, but I couldn’t pass up on the price. Will post about install once it arrives. If anyone has any tips on how to prevent leaking, let me know!
