Still waiting on my bulbs to be delivered. ETA was Friday..oh well.

I have an extra harness if anyone wants it let me know. Made the ground wire a little long. Easier to work with and I'd hate to ship one out and have it be too short.

I ended up building one and have a spare setup to get rid of if anyone is interested. Seems like $20 shipped seems fair here so pm me if interested. I used solder shrink wrap in picture and then the complete wire also in photo. 20240504_075310.jpg 20240504_080421.jpg

Just completed this mod and it came out great after getting the correct bulbs. I have an extra soldered and heat shrunk harness if anyone is in need. Asking for the standard $20. PM me if interested.

Not to beat a dead horse here but I can only get one side to light up? I've looked at hundreds of pictures of the harness and mine is built the same way, yet only one side lights up, the other side will not light. I'm able to get the drivers side working if I have the oem halogen bulb in the passenger side, but it wont light. Any ideas?

    Couple of tips…

buy one of these in 10mm
    IMG_0001.jpg

Remove the black plastic cover for better access to the ground location. It just snaps on…no screws to remove.
These 2 tidbits will save you frustration and bloody knuckles!

    Work in progress!
New member here. Does anyone have an extra harness they'd be willing to sell. Also, any input on which LED DRL lights to buy? Also need info on the front/rear turn signal LED light replacements for the factory incandescent bulbs. Thank you in advance!

Hey....me too! ;) This was my last old BMW.....of 7 I believe it was. Bought it when it was 3 years old in 2004 and finally sold it in 2018.

Having the same issue on my ‘24 TRD Pro: driver’s side HP48 lights up with harness mod on passenger side, but passenger side does not illuminate. Were you able to solve this?

Check your connections. Specially your ground. If you wired them like the pic below. They will work. Unless your other hp48 is faulty.

Thank you. Harness was correct; it was the ground (the bolt securing the high side AC line was not a good ground).

Hi EmacTR4 & all other Members! I had just built the Harness by following all the steps & instructions on the very 1st Page. I had also grounded the Neg Cable to the Location as showed on picture. Unfortunately, when turning ON DRL Lights, only Passenger Side lightup & Driver's Side will not. Swapping the Bulbs & still the same issue. Please, note that Bulb Connectors which I had bought on Amazon is slightly different in color compared to yours so that connecting Green Wire to Black/Red Wires on the Socket & Pink to Black/Ground Wire. Any advices or if I had done something wrong? Attached is the picture of the Harness & also the Ground Location which I used to ground. Thanks so much for helping & have a great weekend.Harness.jpg Ground.jpg Ground.jpg

Mine is 2022 4Runner Limited & as seen other Members had issues with Passenger's Side due to Ground while I have Driver's Side issue, don't really know what had I done wrong? Thanks again

The bulbs you are using are probably polarity sensitive. Interchange the connection. Connect shorted black connector to the pink wire and the ground to the green. Make sure it’s properly grounded. Sand the paint a little bit. This will likely solve it.

Hmmmm! assuming your suggestion will work, then why? I am not an expert on Electrical but this is just a DC Circuit (simple to understand & why Pink Wire on Blue must be wired to Black/Red Wires on Socket to make it work?) & if it is working as the way you suggested, then really have no clue, :). The Bulbs I am using are the same as you & other Members suggested. TIA. BTW, regardless Wires on Connector in different colors as I am following all steps & compared to the Pics those you had posted on 1st Page. Should 22 Limited Version be different from other Models? Seeing many Members had successfully Mod & it is worked for them! Thanks again emacTR4!

Here are some Pics of Original Socket/Connector Connections with Hologen Bulbs! Thanks emacTR4
