Yes, they have the LED hi/low beams, but the DRL bulbs are standalone halogens. Wanting to replicate the mod from this thread so just making sure I’m buying the right items.

That is what you need but you'll also need a little extra wire and a small lug to make your harness(3rd picture on post #3 on the first page of this thread)

Yes you can do that. Maybe a short amount of wire loom/wrap to protect the short amount of wire.

I'm attempting this mod currently and running into the same issue with the tight space around the grounding location. How the heck did you guys get this off?

Hey all - does anyone have a spare harness for this mod? I have a 2022 ORP and thought I’d check if anyone is willing to sell me their spare before I ordered the parts to make my own. Feel free to PM if you have one. Thanks!

You can actually use any bulb, but they will be too bright as DRL.

The flicker was the main reason I changed the wiring from series to parallel--to get back to 12V.

Well dang it. I built my harness and tried with the Alla lighting 9005 LEDs. Only the drivers side lights up. 22 ORP. Any ideas?

    Cmclunar,
Do you still have an extra harness? Just picked up a 23' TRD PRO Saturday and already trying to figure out how to get LED's swapped for the halogen DRL's. Thanks

Your bulbs are probably polarity sensitive. Some LED bulbs, including the HP48, can light up even wired up reversely.

I rebuilt the harness and now everything works great. I suspect one of my connections was bad. Regardless all is well now. Now onto suspension. Thanks everyone.

I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel lol I've been up all night reading forms and came across this one. So, I have everything ordered to build my own harness except the black ground wire. What gauge wire did y'all use...16 or 18?

So, the Driver side receives the input I assume based on this? And polarity has not changed from 2021 and earlier (that part seems fairly safe to assume but worth asking explicitly as these LED bulbs are not polarity sensitive?)

I finally got around to doing this mod. Congrats to anyone who was able to get to that bolt holding the ground wires without having to unbolt and shift the air pump first. I struggled for 20 minutes trying to get the right combo of extensions and swivels before I stopped being lazy and moved the air pump.

This little mod ended up expediting the purchase of some ratcheting wrenches I had planned to get. I ended up using an open end wrench to loosen it enough to slip on a U/fork spade.

Yeah there's not a lot of space. I was able to get it with a ratcheting wrench.
