I like how they have sold vehicles marked as sold. Did they have add ons?

Only ones I selected (GAP insurance, wheel protection, etc.), not ones forced on me. In fact I am chuckling a little now in remembering how I got a check from them a few weeks post-purchase because they charged me too much for registration.

The Good - Toyota 101 in Redwood City, CA. Bought our TRD ORP for MSRP, no add-ons we didn't want. Delivered our vehicle in 2 weeks! Pleasant experience.
The Bad - San Francisco Toyota. Most, but not all, TRD ORPs carry a $3,000 "Dealer Adjustment". Pros get a $10,000 "Adjustment" 2-4 month waiting list for allotted vehicles.
The Ugly - Capitol Toyota in San Jose, CA. $10,000 on ALL 4Runners, including SR5. No Pros available.

El Cajon does MSRP but they add $1,800 is dealer accessories. That is a way to mark-up without saying mark-up. I would NOT put them on the list of dealers to buy from.

Another Wall of Shame dealer with big “dealer adjustments”:
Stevens Creek Toyota San Jose CA.
    https://www.stevenscreektoyota.com/searchnew.aspx?Model=4Runner

    4WD models have dealer markups.
    2022 SR5: +$4,995
    2022 ORP: +$6,995
    2022 PRO: +$14,995
    2022 Limited: +$6,995

The 2WD models are at MSRP, no dealer markup.

Coos Bay Toyota (Coos Bay, OR) got a 2022 ORP for MSRP.

Absolutely no pushyness for warranties or extras.

    Super easy experience!

Even came in early! Wasn't supposed to get it until mid April!

    Also added on markups.org

End of January or Beginning of February is the day I ordered it. He called 2-17-22 to let me know they got the allocation. With a second week of April to pick it up. But it came in almost 3 weeks ahead of schedule

The sheets look like a lot work. Thanks to the OP for putting them together. Wife and I have been looking at buying a 4runner for about 6 months. We are Costco members, and decided to look into their auto purchase program. Two Dealerships in Utah participate in the program, and we contacted both. The first (Performance Toyota) was vague about pricing and wouldn't give us a discount rate on the phone. Part of the program is that the Dealer is supposed to give you this info up front. The second Dealer (Tony Divino Toyota) called us and gave us pricing, and estimated wait times over the phone. Even though they are twice as far away from us as the first Dealer, we decided to pay them a visit. We placed an order, put down a small deposit and were told that it will take 3-4 months. A week after placing the order they said they had one coming in, and that it would be on the lot in mid April. They recently updated that to sometime next week. From the time we paid our deposit to the time we pick it up should be (knock on wood) less than a month, and we will be paying a few hundred dollars under MSRP. I know the car market is crazy, but you can still make a reasonable purchase if you are willing to be patient and you do your research on Dealerships.

Just purchased 2022 4Runner TRD Pro @ MSRP, no markup here in NY. Shopped around, NYC area, NJ, CT, PA all asking 10k over MSRP, upstate NY (hour north) 5-7k over MSRP, dealership in Mass was offering no markup but then I found out the sales manager was driving it around and it had 996 miles on it. That wasn't disclosed during initial sales discussion and they wouldn't hold with a deposit so I backed out, shady. Found a dealer in upstate NY that isn't charging markups for local residents but was charging markups on Hybrid sales, 3-5k. Anyone interested in the dealership I got mine at MSRP send me a DM.

I shopped within 200 miles of Northern Virginia, below are the MSRP dealers I found:

    Brown’s Toyota of Glen Burnie
    McGeorge Toyota (Henrico)
    Steven Toyota (Harrisonburg)

Fitzgerald Toyota in Gaithersburg has a $695 markup
Jack Taylor of Alexandria advertises at MSRP, but add a $1500 freight charge
Other dealerships had significant mark ups

I ended up using TrueCar, paid a little over MSRP at Darcars in Silver Spring but skipped the wait for the exact 4Runner we wanted.

Congrats on your experience! I've used the Costco program in the past, paying $600 below invoice at the time for my Tacoma. I tried using Costco for this purchase and their response was there wasn't a local dealer participating in their program for the 4runner currently. Sounds like I should have picked a different zip code when registering my interest!

    Enjoy your new ride!

    ?

Dealers local to me are charging $10k+ over MSRP. There is limited inventory locally, regardless of trim levels, so there's no real incentive for dealers to participate right now.

Even if I was to change trim levels and a dealer popped up on the list what would be the value of a discounted price on a trim I don't want?

The user few post above you said he got a utah dealer to sell under MSRP using costco's program. I used his dealer and tried a pro and found no one. I switched from a pro to off road and his dealership did come up. How true it is, I wouldn't know. I agree with you though, right now how the market is there is no real incentives for any dealer to participate in it. There are however, still a few that sells at MSRP.

Yep, joined and entered the data.
(Looking at markups.org, it could use a searchable field with more info about location other than just State. Like maybe City).

Yeah, I should clarify that this was to order an SR5 Premium. Sales Manager said that they aren't charging market adjustments on anything, but that getting something "exotic" (his words, haha) like a TRD Pro would take significantly longer. 6-8 months maybe. Either way, sounds like Tony Divino Toyota is the place to get a 4Runner in Utah. Not sure if they sell to out of state buyers. I'll report back once the ink dries, and I have keys in hand.

^^ that dealer was one of, if not the highest one when I was looking. I’ll know where not to go once this market levels off.

Hansel Toyota, Petaluma Ca. SR5 4Runner $1400.00 below MSRP. vehicle was on the lot. It was one of two new vehicles on the lot that were for sale. They were having some sort of end of the month deal. Good timing I suppose.

No markups on any 4Runners. We bought ours there last night.

They have three 4wd Limiteds available as of 6p last night. (Magnetic grey metallic - redwood - wilderness package - auto running boards - 3rd row; Blizzard Pearl - graphite - wilderness - 3rd row; blizzard pearl - redwood - wilderness - auto running boards - roof rack cross bars)
Ask for John LaRocca - he's amazing!!!!!
