What is the species you target with a bow and arrow? Is that carp of some sort? Awesome you get to spend some time with your son

 

Yes, carp - an invasive species that degrade the water quality. We bagged six and hit another five or six that managed to wiggle off before landing them. The Snakeheads are a big bowfishing target in the lower Potomac River below DC. The Snakehead population has really exploded on the Potomac River south of DC.

Thanks - definitely some good quality time with two of my three sons. The other one is in the Army - stationed in Hawaii. Fortunately my wife and I just returned from Hawaii this weekend after visiting him and vacationing there.

 

Lunar Rock came out with the 2021 Pro. Would I have preferred that they kept Lunar Rock exclusive to the 2021 Pro - selfishly yes! But, I'm not annoyed by it. It's not like they are everywhere. If they had kept Lunar Rock exclusive to the 2021 Pro you would not have one!

Went fishing. Didn't get skunked, but nothing worth keeping. Also some beach cruising to the end of Matagorda Island. Whole place to myself.

When i see new or eatablished members with no vehicle info or mod lists, I wonder why they are even on this forum to begin with if youre not going to share/show off what you have done.

it's been hot and humid here in texas as of late. missing the cold right about now

 

Ran a loop this weekend down to Creede, Lake City, and hit Cottonwood Pass. Not enough miles were off road but they will come. C4 Lo Pro w/winch and light bar and Dobinsons IMS are on order!

Got the windows tinted today and Husky floor liners in the day I got it home from the dealer. I’m always amazed by the aesthetic difference tint can make on a vehicles appearance. Plus this color looks so good in person, to me at least.

Being the wife’s daily/family hauler, this rig won’t see many other mods. I was pretty well set on swapping to black front/rear valence, but now that I have the truck in hand I don’t hate the silver as much as I thought I would. Time will tell, but I’ll hold off on that swap for now.

 

I also expected to have to black out the silver, but it doesn’t stand out like I expected.

 

Agreed. It provides a level of contrast that I kind appreciate more seeing it in person than I expected to.

I’m finding myself with a similar disposition with the chrome lug nuts. I’d been looking at black replacements before getting the truck. But now I’m not so sure it’s necessary in my eyes. Could be I’m just getting old

honestly, I thought the tires were going to poke out some more. Got the alignment and BMC done at stellar built in Sacramento. I did the kings and control arms.
