Does anyone have a NON premium OR? Ive been looking at a new purchase and can't tell if they are just rare or they don't make them that way. I can find plenty of ORP Lunar rock, but no plain off road

Local inventory sometimes shows one or two, usually in Ice Cap and a ton of port installs. The one I just found was 50k for a regular off road with a bunch of junk added

I didn't get much added...kdss, black out emblem, USB port. Just under 47k with delivery fee. That was MSRP. Shame they are adding things people may not want.

Got my ORP last month. Did lots of looking before buying. I just searched today a 100 mile radius from me (in Los Angeles area), there were 90 4Runners at dealers in that area. LOTS of ORP's (they must have just gotten a boatload of them in, there werent' many a week ago). Out of all those, only one OR non-premium. But suggest you use the toyota.com site to search inventories in a wide radius from you (maybe 200 miles) to see what might pop up. [Select 4Runners from the all models list, then scroll down to a button that says Find Yours (or similar)]

Usually when the market is tight, dealers (and maybe Toyota) will tend towards more options and higher priced configurations, expecting they will sell, versus bare bones cars.

The Toyota.com inventory page is where I've been keeping tabs on it, using a 500 mile radius lol

Has anybody had a body shop take off the valences and re spray them in LR? I wonder how much different that would look as opposed to the silver.

Pretty Stock except for Sherpa Crestone Roof Rack with 44" Extreme LED X6S Slim Light Bar, RCI 5 degree Sliders with Top Plates, General Grabber ATX 265/70R/17.
On the Trail Edition Lunar Rock, the valance was color matched. Not sure if there is a way to get this part or if it would fit ORP. I think depending on the shade of Lunar Rock you get in the light, silver valence doesn't look bad on ORP. But definitely black or Lunar Rock would look better.

I think it would be hard to color match it in a body shop for this color.

Got my 2023 LR ORP two weeks ago. Had to go 490 miles to get it, and that was just a very lucky find. Closer dealers were estimating 6-8 months wait for LR... all had long waitlists. I spent probably 16 hours on the phone in early January calling dealers that had one on allocation... just tripped on to one that wasn't spoken for.

The weeks of waiting gave me a chance to stockpile the mods I've installed : TRD wheels with Falken Wildpeaks, Greenlane slider steps, Sherpa Crestone rack, black front and rear bumper valences, heritage grille with raptor lights, black out emblems. Ready to go play with it now.

On another subject, anyone else having trouble photographing your LR in full sun? Always comes out a washed out bluish color in my photos. Probably my Samsung phone. Here is a photo of my new toy alongside my 22 Tundra limited which will be going up for sale soon. It is a great truck but I just don't need it!

I can join this thread, Finally got my dream truck, It had to be one of 3 colors and this one was my 1st choice, Got word of this one coming in, put a deposit down in january on it and took delivery the day after the truck delivered it to the dealer on feb27th. had 1 mile on it when I test drove it, it will only be driven on weekends and my photography vacations throughout the year. let the mods begin and the money to continue to fly from my pocket.

I'm 51 and never owned a new vehicle and this will probally be my last as I plan on driving it for the next 20 years +
thanks everyone for posting along their pics, I'll post more as the mods and adventures commence.

Nice man, love what you've done so far, those are few of the mods I'm gonna make as well.
and the photography tip is, the blue on pics is from the sky reflecting on the paint, adjust your white balance warmer or if you have Lightroom reduce the blue luminance slider, and yes the phone does have a small sensor, better with a DSLR or mirrorless to make those adjustments I said above.
    cheers man
Glad to me part of the Lunar rock club

A couple weeks ago took my new '23 ORP out to the canyon country. The long hauls on the windy freeways were nothing like cruising in my Tundra, but once on the scenic backroads and it was in its element. We had some great side trips. It sucks fuel like a demon, is noisy and underpowered, is missing many modern conveniences.... and I love it. Fits me to a tee. Here are some pics of a 4Runner in it's native environment:

1Up - great bike rack system. Made in the USA. Very easy to use. Well designed! All of my riding buddies are sporting 1Up's. I pulled into a trailhead last week and there were five vehicles there and they all had 1Up's.

The Equip-D Double is the rack I have. I see it is listed for $805 now - damn! I paid $729 three years ago!

There is a bike rack thread on this forum with 1Up's appearing to be a favorite.

If you scroll thru this Lunar Rock thread there are several photos of my 4R and bike rack.

Thanks for the great info. I'm trading my Tacoma for a 5th gen sometime this month and will need to buy a bike rack.
