Thanks! I do like how it looks, even basically stock, with a wide angle lens. Makes it look even more beefy...

I am leaning towards the Pro, despite the fact that the ORP seems to make the most sense. I am self employed and can write the vehicle off which helps offset the higher cost of the Pro as I try to justify it! Thanks for the pictures and really like the non-Pro rack.

As I have commented before about your rig, the lack of a roof rack - especially the Pro rack looks great! Super streamlined! Since I will be the sole user of the 4R there will be plenty of room on the interior for me to sleep in and stow things! Love the look!

Yes that’s kind of where I am. My wife has a limited 2018 and I own mine and would just pay the difference. Basically $6000 out the door. I just am afraid I’d regret it. I know I’d like the truck too. But I think we truly have a gem in these that is probably going to be the most sought after 4R ever. My garage is a tough call too. I’d literally have 2-3 inches tops front and Back when in the garage.

Yeah I removed the rack and the annoying TRD exhaust. Both were great mods IMO.

Here is my sleeping/camping setup. Just me and my dog. Works perfectly and I'm 6'1".

Looking to do the same! I am a firm believer in Keep It Simple Stupid. I am 5'11" and soon to be 59, plenty of room for a single user. My wife can just fly out and meet me mid trip and we can do the hotel thing. Looking for a fun retirement vehicle to tour the country. I like to mountain bike, ski, hike, hunt, fish, tour the west, etc. Reside in Maryland and not much 4 wheeling unless snowing. I will be 4wheeling out of necessity not sport, so a stock set up with light mods will me more than adequate for me. Looking forward to a unplanned random last chapter filled with activity and blue skies!

That does sound like a dream come true, bud.

And I will say this: unless you've really a big thing for KDSS (and I don't), then you will never regret getting the Pro trim.

And, as to the rack, you might try it before you remove it -- you can sure benefit from the use of a roof rack and/or top-box for everything you're into! (Plus, FJ nostalgia!)

Thanks for the endorsement! I am leaning towards the Pro! I just saw a Burnt Orange Pro 4R today and it clearly stands apart! Unfortunately not quite ready to walk off into the sunset yet, so I have more time to drive myself crazy with this! Intrigued to know what the new Pro colors will be for 2022.

I think the bright yellow or the black cherry colors would be nice, since they seem to be referencing the FJ Cruiser colors.
