Looking at a 2019 Pro with 26k miles

The ‘23 ORP would be the way to go. I can list the options you’re getting, but the two main reasons would be, it’s new and will have all the factory warranty’s.
The only real reason to buy a TRD Pro is for the color. If you’re going with black, go new, more equipped/optioned out ‘23 ORP

 

2 oil changes in 26k miles isn’t terrible. there could be an unrecorded service for all you know.

if you do end up buying the truck id get an oil analysis done before i start pouring treatments and cleaners into the crankcase unnecessarily.

 

Someone's lying to you. Pro models do not have KDSS.

This 2019 Pro has a real key and I so love that.

 

I haven't owned a vehicle with a physical key since 2010. I dont miss it. Love the smart key and push start. If you park outside and you're concerned about theft, just put your keys in a metal box or faraday pouch at night.

 

You can also turn off the key fobs signal by double tapping the unlock button while holding the lock button. The red light will blink a few times to let you know it’s deactivated.

Doing this greatly increased the battery life on my remote\fob. I figured it wasn't needed when parked in a garage for a week at a time.

At the dealership right now. They gave me a discount. $48,540 on a Black 2023 KDSS with Offroad Premium package and rock rails. Signed the paperwork. They are washing it. No complaints except one, it doesn't have a real key. Old school truck based rear wheel drive SUV with no real key, it hurts.

It has 15 miles on the odometer, the white one had 5. Sorry to sound silly, but would you worry about 10 extra miles?

You made the right move, now you don’t have to worry what maintenance intervals the previous owner followed or did not follow. Sounds like a great deal as well kdss and multi terrain monitor alone make msrp right around 50k

 

I personally wouldn’t worry about those 10 miles.

If one is carpet and one is all-weather, they may have missed it. Usually, a dealership pulls the carpet mats if the port put all-weathers in. My 23, I asked to keep both sets.

I sold my extra AW mat for $40, probably could have gotten $50, lots of inquiries.

It wouldn't hurt mentioning to your insurance company though. Most insurance companies have a database of the standard features, but if you have an independent agent, by checking that box off, it might save you something...

 

So basically I just bought a 2008 truck that has 1998 gas mileage, for 49 grand. Stupid purchase, but hey stupid is fun. I'm going to tease my neighbor who has a Rivian lol.
