Is this the future ?

Is this really a question that needs to be asked? Yes, it’s the future. Toyota isn’t going to make a special new NA engine just for the 4runner.

4runners have never sounded great, except the V8. I worry more about reliability than engine sound.

 

Ugly chin spoilers are also the future... and apparently they do work a very small percentage:

The spoiler also can have an impact on handling as well at freeway speeds (and above).

Whether or not anyone is going to drive fast enough is a good question.

I do know that back in the day, if you had the whale tail on a 911, you needed a chin spoiler to balance it out - but you could have the chin spoiler and no rear spoiler.
