By the way, I don't think dealers are showing you their actual invoice price. They keep that info pretty closely guarded. A lot of them say they are showing you the invoice price and then show some other made up price. I doubt they are paying $40k invoice. I think it's less. No proof, just suspicion.

You’re probably right

Is what it is. I’m just happy to finally get a new vehicle, and a fun one that is also reliable. I learned with the stocks this year that you can never play any of them perfectly. It’s a lesson I learned over time. And it kind of applies to many things. I’m sure i coulda negotiated a little better, but nothing is perfect.
