I saw this skateboard wheel (shifter) mod and it looks pretty good! It was installed with the bearings so it also spins. I tried to find a diy but didn’t found anything. Perhaps is member in here(?)

These hatch lights from 4RNRMatt are amazing. I have Meso in the dome and map lights and love them. But I wanted to try something unique for the hatch and support a fellow 4Runner owners small business. They are amazingly bright.

I bought a paracord hatch cover and some back rest paracord handles from that guy, and like him. He listened to what I wanted and made it

Do his hatch lights come like shown in the picture?
Or do you have to buy the lights from MESO?

3D printed some lug nut caps. Let’s see how long they stay on (pressure fit).

His product is just the mounts. You have to buy the lights from KC which I prefered so I could pick what colors I wanted

this has been in my Etsy cart for a few months. How was the install? Was curious if I should go this route or Meso but leaning towards the "small business".

he also has this I was considering

I just bought these after seeing your pics,
    https://www.etsy.com/listing/1622694452/5th-gen-4runner-rear-hatch-kc-cyclone

there is another pic in the reviews showing view with upgraded LED in factory lights, with 4RNRMatt's hatch light housings that really highlights the improvement

I also found these on Etsy,
so my nuts don't get dusty

I'm guessing you meant the shifter... It's a bit tall visually, but it's a perfect resting height for my right hand. It's just a universal 2" ball and nickel plated adapter since it is visible at some angles. I used the larger adapters as a bit guide to drill it to 1.5" depth and red loctite to keep the adapter in the ball.

Would rather do a custom aluminum ball but I'm in Phoenix and you only make that mistake once. Even aluminum gets hot as hell here.

I think it's more comfortable than the stock steering wheel.

Changed out my cubby drawers for better made grey colored ones...
$40 for both, and you can pick your color
    https://www.etsy.com/listing/1226658443/5th-gen-2014-2024-4runner-storage-drawer?ref=yr_purchases

also, changed out my front cup holder inserts, cause I wanted grey to match the rest of the interior
$35, you can pick your color and solid or with a logo cut into the bottom
    https://www.etsy.com/listing/1156207000/cup-holder-insert-set-for-toyota-4runner

before, with poorly made drawers and stock cupholders

after, with new inserts and drawers

The install for this was easy because he made them plug and play. I bought his first version but it sat in my garage because the wiring intimidated me. Not because it was hard but I'm not comfortable doing wiring. But the lights are great. I LOVE Meso products(have them in my dome and map lights) but wanted to give this guy a try and glad I did.

I bought this $49.00 storage box at Costco today to store gear in the back . It’s like a Pelican or a Yeti storage box and seems well made for the price . Comes in FDE or grey . The two top trays are lift out .

Here’s one more pic of the above box . I’m still getting my stuff arranged in it but in the pic it has portable air, a large pro grade plugging kit, Noco jump box, strap, tire tools . That breaker bar in the pic is 17” long . Still room for more. Pouches on the inner lid are Velcro’d in .IMG_2626.jpg
