Good change to make in regards to interior lighting, One of the best lighting changes to swap to.

Love mine. I also got the LED backup lights. Huge difference and don't have any negative effect on the backup camera.

It was helpful for me to watch a YouTube video of how to remove the covers and r&r the lamps. Not difficult but knowledge gained made it pretty quick and easy.

I bought an LED kit for my 4 Runner, but now only one of my license plate lights will work at any given time. I was told that the vehicle is not set up for LED lights. Is there anything else I need to get these to work?

Don't buy a cheap 'kit' from Amazon. Buy some higher quality LED's. They will cost you about 3 times more, but less likely to have problems.

I have the Cali Raised interior LED light kit on the way, includes bulbs for the puddle lamps in the mirrors, and the rear license plate. Watched a video on changing the puddle bulbs, those are probably going to be the most difficult, other than the glovebox (I'm probably NOT going to change that one, based on how difficult it looks to be). I kinda like the warmer glow of the halogen bulbs, they're not as harsh as the bright white of the LEDs. But the LEDs do give it a much more modern look, that's for sure.
