How long at the port?

Nice! Keep me posted as to when it hits freight, I will do the same. When is yours expected to land at the dealer?

 

Hi, 2022 4Runner TRD Off-Road hit the port in NY on 10/6, still not processed.

 

Our salesman advised us that our SR5 just hit Freight status today.

 

Search port delays and backups..............it ain't pretty and by design, it's getting worse.

 

Congratulations! Let's hope I get a call today with similar info. The only thing mine had to be port installed was floor mats.

 

Was just told the dealer should have it in 48hrs…

 

And just like that I was told it was a mistake and my T4R is still at the port

 

Had a call from dealer, 4Runner is scheduled to leave NY port on 10/22 and reach VA between 10/27-11/01

 

Awesome, that's about how long mine took to get to the dealer (also in VA). I don't think there is the same delay at the NY port versus the LA port.

 

Our estimated arrival @ the dealership is 11/2 through 11/8.

 

Found on a RORO off the coast of Oregon on Sept. 8.

Arrived in Port of Portland Sept. 18

Supposed to arrive at dealership Oct. 20

Arrived dealership Oct. 21. Today!

So far only 8 miles, more tomorrow.



Then I ran right away out to the beach. A nice fall drive.

what website were you able to check the updates?

 

You have to ask the dealer- there is no way for us to check.

 

Mine sat in the Portland port for 32 days even though the dealer put in on the hot list for a rush order. (They had made a monumental mistake and sold the first 4Runner I had put a down payment on.) The dealer said they're very short handed at the port so processing something as simple as all weather mats means waiting. It's an anxiety nightmare. I feel for ya, man.

 

Damn that sucks….
I just got an update from my salesman. Says it’s estimated arrive is 11/5-11/9. Hopefully this week and next goes by fast!

 

Stay on the dealership about these dates. Not to say they're all prone to error, but my first car was supposed to arrive Aug. 30-Sept. 1. I finally texted on Sept. 4 and the reply I got was that these were not firm dates, but targets. I called 2 days later and talked with a sales manager and their response was the classic, "What car?" It did show up on Sept. 1, they thought there was no name attached so they sold it in 24 hours. C'mon, these 4Runners are like gold plated gold bars. None of them arrive without a name attached.

Good to know!! I thought I was being annoying constantly texting my salesman. But since I bought the last two cars with him, I trust him that he will be on top of it as well…
He had even sent me another list of available 4runners coming in to see if i wanted to switch to a different one, but I said no since I ordered ORP with KDSS.

 

Just a heads up, some vehicles from Toyota will be held at the port for addition inspection before being loaded up and sent to the Railhead towards their final destination. So far, some '21 Tundras have been put in that status and from the mouth of some Toyota Executive, this could push back expected Delivery dates even further.

 

Looks like I get to pick it up tomorrow.

Mine is silver, what color are you getting?

 

I got a white one! My Rav4 was Silver and I loved it! It rains a lot here in Seattle, and with Silver, it always looked clean no matter the weather. Good choice!

 

I love the red and and silver. I opted for silver only because I figured it would be forgiving over the years. That red sure does pop though!

 

I wish there was a better way to track than having to bug the dealer.

our cars arrived at the same port. I spoke to my salesman today and he said arrival 11/5-11/9 but I'm hoping it magically comes in by this weekend.

 

Arrived in port August 19th. I pick it up tomorrow!
